if the moonshot was not arranged U can harvest everything, remeber though to leave 1667 lf cause any less and U will get a smaller moon.... best way imho is to exchange the moonshots- your terms your time

RE: Moonshot rules

I would recommend to trade moonshots.

Also, it seems to me that you are better off if the Light Fighters are on the attacking side. That way, the defenses (and possibly some ships, especially Cruisers) only have to destroy 1667 Light Fighters.

If the Light Fighters are on the defender's side, then the attacker (a) can't use defenses, only ships, to destroy those Light Fighters, and (b) also has to overcome any additional defenses, which usually do exist on a planet.

I heard you need less amounts of LF in speed uni's. (uni.40) How many do you need?

Well, if you want to get a moon I suggest you to arrange a moonshot trade or just buy moonshot from someone. It's a waste of resources if you just leave your LFs and let anyone crash them and steal the DF.

Anyway, if you do arrange with someone, you have to have in mind the pushing rule. That means that the higher ranked player must not gain any resources.

1. Trading resources for moonshot
a) Attacker is ranked higher
You are allowed to send deut for flight and cost of LFs to a higher ranked player if he crashes LFs at your planet. However, you have to open a ticket explaining that to GO.

b) Attacker is ranked lower
Same is the attacker is ranked lower. Difference is, that you don't need to open a ticket in that case.

2. Trading moonshot for moonshot
In that case, each gets a DF from LFs. (rank is not important)

@ Partazan: I thinky ou need 1250 LFs because of 40% ships to DF.

hmm not in speed unis only in uni 40 since the debris from the ships is 40% and not 30%.. you can do the math, every LF is 4k , 40% is 1600, you need 2mil for 20% moon shot so it's 1250 LFs.

Eh, it's the other way around. If your ships get destroyed, then you can harvest the debris without any problems.

If a higher ranked player crashes your ships, he may NOT keep the debris. That would be pushing.

I didn't understand that:

I can only get a moon if i'm the defender ??

So i need to invite people to attack me ?

If i attack someone with 1667 he get the chance for a moon and not me?

Please someone explain to me what should i do...

No, you can arrange with someone to crash his LFs in you and you crash your LFs in him. Or, you can pay him resources and he crashes LFs in you. You can also leave your LFs and ask someone to crash them so you can keep the DF. Clear?

A moon forms from a DF, and the DF is created where the battle takes place. So yes.

With 1667 Light Fighters, there is a 20% probability of a moon forming next to the planet where the battle takes place. You don't get the choice to create a moon somewhere else.

So yes, you need to invite people to attack you. I suggest to "trade a moonshot" or "trade a moon chance" - player A attacks player B, player B attacks player A, and both recover the debris next to their planets.

Repeat until one of the two gets a moon. 20% means that on average, you'll get one moon every 5 tries.

Of course, it is possible that if you both shoot once each, both players get a moon. Otherwise, the player who did NOT get a moon continues trading moonshots with other players (or with the same player, if he wants more moons).

Note that the average cost of a moon is about 18M Metal and 6M Crystal - assuming you recover the debris.
