Ok so I'll start it off I'm glad gamforge has made an international Server it's great and if you have an apple computer with a translater it's even better So what do you guy all think of it? will you join? Is there any point to it? And be honest top ten players on the form will you really bother to go into this uni? Anyway discuss what you think about it and what not.

I'm not going to be playing this one. I don't really have enough time to properly do it justice, I could make time, but it would be at the expense of other things that I really should be doing instead.
So, as there's only 7500 places, I'm going to give other players, who can give it the time the chance to play, rather than stealing a place.
I think it's a good idea and will give players from all over the world the chance to interact and compete with each other. I know it's a speed uni which requires different tactics to normal unis, so people are gonna say that being good in a speed uni doesn't mean you will do well in a normal uni.
However, people are all competing on a level playing field so it will still be a good judge of ability.

I'd play it... if I could afford the commander subscription that's required. That really took a blow at how I like this game... Now to play devils advocate and see it from GameForge's place. Ya'll apparently need the cash from the commander subsciptions. This is either a tactic to Generate income or to balance out the costs for the Beta uni server(s?), bandwidth, and hardware for such a fast paced game.

No, commander is mandatory. You have to have it. Without commander accounts get deleted.
You cannot ply without - first, speeduniverses are way more expensive than normal ones, second, with ads you could not play properly.

Not really the place for this, but I'm assuming you've checked your spam folders or you haven't deleted it by mistake.
Sometimes the password can take a while to come through especially if the server is experiencing a high load at the moment

Ok Guys Account go active at 6pm server time and for everyone in .org I sent up an alliance for english speaking .orgers We will be a mass alliance at the start and then we will become a small alliance 20 members max. The tag is .ORG (Real orginal name I know) and it's you speck english or have played on .org send in an application. Also This is an international uni so everyone is welcome to join .ORG but just must have at leased rudimentary english.

i dont understand why everything will be reseted on 31-1-07? its like u building everthing for 2 months will be wasted.. and commander as well

It's more than likely so you can try different strategies each time, or if you miss the start after three months of play you would be so far behind you wouldnt be able to advance very well and resetting therefore gives you an equal chance just incase you have messed up somewhere or missed the start

I think having an international uni will bring about more of the alliances like russia, romania, france, italy and others.
I have never liked alliances like this because it is kind of discriminating and putting a label on people. I mean if an alliance called lets say X not 2 upset anyone has lots of really rude and unkind members the people who come from the country X my recieve that label which is a bit unfair.
Anyway hope it goes well, im not going to join because i havnt got the money for cmmander at the moment.

Remember that the servers will be unusually stressed due to the speed factor and due to the register rush, delays in mails and simmilar things may happen but should not be too much of a problem.
Be patient please as there is a lot of people working for it to come true, have fun and enjoy it. -
The mailserver had about 2k of mails in queue earlier this afternoon, so password mails can take some time. Same goes for Gamepay sms and such
