    Was tense waiting to see if you got accepted, nice to see you did :D


    Its a nice report, pretty much sums up what's going on right now (although, the evil vs POW/POP thing has happened since you wrote it)


    Looking forward to the next one :)

    It's some, great writing, mate. Journalist in the making? Maybe.
    A great take on present happenings.
    Some constructive criticism:


    - Try to bring out less of your opinions and [excellent] showmanship i.e in the war section, and stick to the naked facts.


    - Research some more on the origins on some of these alliances like AL.INC and try and get more of a feel for their dynamics. It'll do wonders for your reader numbers ;)

    I was that big member in DC and trust me haha... this war wont end for a LONG time to come. At least... not by DC's "giving up" lol... We're a nightmare and we intend to hold that reputation for the right reasons. Our alliance page explains where our motivation comes from.


    Fantastic work man. Hopefully this can become a monthly thing rather than annual. I would love to see that form of updating for us all :).


    Just for interest as well... DC Vs Phoenix has over 13,000 views and over 1,000 posts and to date is the most talked in thread out of every Uni 1 thread in history. Kinda cool hey? Lol.

    These "facts" you speak of are only a set of opinions that are agreeed with many.


    I for one love opinionated propaganda! Nice work saint, always wanted to see more GNN reports of the best uni of ogame and if it cant be full of opinions then its pointless. We all know uni1 is the harshest uni, both ingame and on the boards.

    Like many of the others said i would stick to being unbiased if your reporting for the whole uni.


    I would also do a bit more research into the past of some of these alliances and players. for example da laz is not the only well known Pirate etc.


    It will be quite a challenge for yourself being new to the uni and not knowing whats gone on the past 4 or so years but i'm sure you'll get the gory details off of players :S

    It was a good first report. If I were you, I'd start getting in touch with the players and doing interviews. That's where you are going to get the fun opinions and 'facts'. And it will be fun to see how they contradict each other...as all good facts do. This would bring out all sorts of interesting things about alliance origin and rivalry that drives uni 1.


    Also, you had a section on war, and that's all well and good, but it says nothing of the undeclared wars raging, since nobody has the scrote to put their reputations on the line anymore. RoLUEsers very much prise AL.INC scalps, and the other way around I am sure.


    It's the histories between players that make uni 1 interesting, and you are not going to get into the fun stuff until you delve those. You should seek out interviews from the following folks, all of whom are basically around in one form or another. They all have stories to tell that would make very enjoyable reads if you can get them to talk.


    Jake, Urza, Aral, Jimmy N, Zombie, Strike Raider, Cajun, Da Laz, CraftySeed, Spart, Little B, Alliance leaders and whoever else you find worthy of note as we no doubt have different list of people that need to be crash...err, notable people. :)

    Good report there man, and yeah try to found more info and make some interviews about the old players, his crashes, wars, Leader team, etc. You can found a lot of info there believe me. A lot of us we play like 3-4 years or more in this Uni and we have a great historys about our game like a player and alliance. ;)

    i thought the F.U.A.R. and Tugas wars would at least get a mention! :D

    Your report was an "interesting" read. Most from opinion rather than fact but an interesting read none the less.


    Take the advice of those who have posted before me in this thread and I am sure you will make many interesting, factual reports on the state of the uni.
