QuoteDisplay MoreiPad Internet Problems:
No Wi-Fi network:
- Locate WiFi networks in your area – Go to Settings > Wi-Fi screen. If there are no networks, then maybe there is no Wi-fi coverage where you are.
- You might be ouside the range of the Wi-Fi router or hotspot. Move closer to the router, try getting a clear line of sight.
- Verify Wi-Fi router is turned on, because sometimes it really is that simple.
- Check the internet cable is plugged into the Wi-Fi router. Loose cables are a very common problem.
- Private networks may not show up. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Other and enter the Wi-Fi network name, security, and password to connect.
iPad not connecting to Wi-Fi network/Internet not working:
- Locate the correct Wi-Fi network. Often there are multiple Wi-Fi networks available and you need to choose thee right one for optimum internet speed and connectivity.
- Coffee shops, airports, internet cafes etc. generally don’t offer a free Wi-Fi network. To access internet on such subscription wifi networks, you need to ask them for the relevant information.
- Configure network-specific settings – like IP address, DNS, and Search Domain settings. Maybe someone tampered with your iPad settings.
- Use “Renew Lease” to acquire new IP address, DNS, and Search Domain information from the Wi-Fi network.
- Turn off iPad – then restart. tI might automatically fix itself.
- Turn the Wi-Fi router off and then on again. It might just need a reset.
- Disable wireless encryption/security on the Wi-Fi router - if it works this means there are encryption issues. Change the security protocol and try again.
- Reset your network settings – Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Configure your Wi-Fi router to use a single WEP key.
- If none of these work, turn off the Wi-Fi and use the mobile data plan – that will at least work if you've got a data plan.
Dropped/Fluctuating/Weak iPad Wi-Fi Signal:
- Move closer to the Wi-Fi router signal. Get a clear line of sight.
- Reduce active Bluetooth wireless devices near your iPad.
- Change channels on your wireless network to use 2.4 and 5GHz channels with the least interference.
- Reduce interefence by mobile phones, cordless phones, metals, power lines, microwave ovens, wireless speakers, other wireless devices including AirPort and Bluetooth devices.
- Remove iPad from cover, remove any attachments that might be intefering.
iPad not automatically connecting to a known Wi-Fi network:
- Create separate Wi-Fi network names to identify each band (for Wi-Fi routers that are dual-band capable). Add some characters to the current network name. Example: Add a G to the 802.11b/g network name and an N to the 802.11n network name. (source)
- In third-party Wi-Fi routers that are dual-band capable, ensure that both networks use the same security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2 etc.)
- Reset your network settings – Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
- Update Wi-Fi router for firmware or software updates.
iPad app doesn't work anymore (not updated iOS and running a higher version than 4.3.3 iOS)
- Restart the OGame App
- First try to close the app using the multi-task screen (double-tap on the home button).
- You will see a list of apps close them all.
- Now try to open the OGame app again.
Does it work? If yes, great you're done. If not:
- Reinstall the iPad app (this removes all app data and cache)
Didn't work? Contact the OGame team.
iPad app didn't work after installation:
- Check if your iPad is jailbroke because the OGame app won't work in this instance. (JAILBREAK = NO SUPPORT)
If not:- Look if you've got at least iOS 5 if not try to update your iOS.
If that's not the case:- Reinstall the iPad app again
When u can not login :

- close the app in the multi task and after that u can login again
How to clear cache and cookies::
- Start up the “Settings” application on your device.
- Settings is the main application for most of the settings on the iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately, the Settings application has many options. You will mostly likely have to scroll down to locate the “Safari” option.
- On the Safari options window, select the “Clear Cookies” option. You can also set your iPhone to not accept any more cookies in the “Accept Cookies” option.
- Confirm that you want to delete your browser cookies by selecting “Clear Cookies”. That is all. You may want to shut down your device and start it back up to be sure that the cookies have been deleted.
