Why was the "Discussion on Merge" thread closed?

It is closed because productive conversations were no longer being had and it became a thread for trolling and complaining

When I saw they closed the thread I thought it was because a merge was coming... bummer, it was just that T4NK was bored by that thread.

The thread was closed because for a long time now it haven't fullfilled it's purpose and just became a thread of certain people asking every few days for a merge.
We all know that nearly everyone wants a merge, even I and I don't even play in .org. And as we all can't do anything about there is no need to disturb other users with it all the time/cause unneeded flame against certain users.

I was not aware that you actually had to read everything everyone worte and not only the things that you found interesting.

Only mods have to read everything I guess, which sucks, but it is not like anyone forced them into being mods...

They certainly need merging

We, the team, know that they are pretty dead if not completly. Also as you now know the reason why it was closed, this one gets also closed

@Tezcatlipoca some users also read a lot and got annoyed by it
