So It's almost November and we still haven't heard of the merge that should take place this year.
I really would wish for some official's to make some light if this merge is really going to happen in the next 2 month's or not.I do not think it would be that hard of an answer to give.At least we wont fool ourselfs it's going to happen or not.Or to give more info uppon it if required to be givven an more elaborated answer.
For some that do not know Official's from GameForge have made a Q&A video in wich the question has poped:When will we have the next merge.Their answer was their working to do it this year.

On another note, is there a chance that every new thread "merge when?" gets merged to this topic? It doesn't even have to be this one, it can be any other "when is merge happening?" thread, so we don't have to click with expectations of some new information?

During the new year time maybe merge will be announced.
And merge will happen on march.

The truth is that we do not have a date for it.
It is in our plans, we know the communities have been requesting it and I myself forwarded the message and got as a reply that they will happen at some point, but for now there is nothing else I can say about it because there is simply no date for it. -
There are even universes with 30 - 40 people active. Around 5 universes in org are completely dead. 100 sounds like party.

I heard rumor that Cygnus was going to merge, as well, and given nearly the entirety of the universe is either flooded with permanent vacationers or abandoned planets, it'd be nice to know there's some foreseeable solution to this slowly dying universe

This is from the recent newsletter.
"Alongside the efforts to make new worlds more interesting, e.g. with more new server settings, we also want to do something about those universes that have in the meantime gotten a little thinner in population: we are currently working on a new and improved merge process. This will make it easier to carry out fusions during the year and to offer the veteran emperors amongst you more action."

I could be wrong, but sounds like it means they will implememt community merging or the ability to choose more target universe
