Hello Polaris! Let me take you back a few months to the Nightcreat hit and one of Vitamin's posts:

Anyone else got Deja Vu?! This time we did it in 4 hours and change. There was a period where I was advocating just stealing the hit, fair play to Dutch as he gave us the exact timings and basically gave up his fleet to us to avoid GH6 getting it. In the end that act of selflessness (and Nelson finding some deut from behind the sofa) led us to go for glory with the defend, and boy did it pay off. Wasn't expecting to see Vulcan's name on Part #1 but sometimes life comes with little perks!

This universe is not GH6's to rule uncontested, the rest of us will NOT go down without a fight.

Dedicated to @MoggyDoggy, he may be gone but he's far from forgotten.

What to say about the hit. Nobody in GH6 knew this was going down, so we were all pretty shocked to find out that one of our fleets was down.

Sorry to see u go down Sammy. I know it's a devastating hit, but u may wanna stick around.

Great story by shcoken , made me laugh a bit remembering our Cat fights with nelson on the boards. lol I do miss that sometimes , its what fueled my passion for ogame , all because of Nelson, miss you man. lol

This hit, When i saw no fleet, it felt like something died and i had to take a walk and just take it in and with some wine on this lovely Saturday lol.

came back and focused on collecting enough DF . collected around 3.3B. enough to go on miner mode after a break from Polaris .

I don't think this universe is dying , its just getting ready for the big juicy hits. with the giants that remain, that is why i stayed.

In real life we are all busy, and i was one of them ... I will be focusing on helping my wife start up a montessori school in our city, while i continue to work for the biotech company i'm enjoying for now until its time to quit and start my own company ( not in that field) .

thank you all, its a goodbye for now, while i recollect, enjoy the holidays and maybe come back with enough strength to play again. Because its hard, loosing your fleet lol. i can feel for those we took down and for EMP.

To all BoB, good job , i got much respect for some of you , Raz, shcoken, Nelson is getting on my respected list again .. Canary was neutral but now on bad list. lol

To all my deut supplyers , thank you for your dedications to a safe trade route and preference lol.

Classy response, I can totally respect how losing your fleet feels, especially after you played it so carefully with the double probes on shcoker and not slowing the fleet to avoid time back etc.
It was so touch and go, if either of nelson and shcoker hadn't had fleets down with deut to play with there's no way we could have touched this and we'd have just had to try and crash him ourselves. Right up to 30 mins before the hit we had all our fleets flying on defend and we were all sat in chat like "what if he doesn't launch?", we'd have been about 300kk deut out of pocket with nothing to show for it.

As for being on the bad list, I'm just happy being on the radar, feels like I make the grade now.

And of of course Shcoker, nice notice of the missing moon in the morning and the fleet activity over lanx. Without this Dutch would have probably lost his fleet, because he wouldn't know Vitamin was keeping track of the lanx so he could time your fleet back.

Big smash guys. This is pretty sweet. Universe is getting smaller and smaller so I hope for a merge soon. And if its big enough I say we all come together to form a Polaris alliance. I think we could do some damage to other universes. Tough loss Vitamin but you took it like a champ and I hope you come back and play. Good job to all parties involved on the ninja side, great profit and enjoy the spoils.
