Resource Help During Combat

    Hello All,


    I have checked rules section but I could not find anything about it.
    I will try to explain what just happened and I need your opinion.


    My question and case is ;


    There are 3 parts
    1.Attacker
    2.Defender
    3.Resource Helper (HIGHER ranked than defender)



    During any combat, is that legal thing defender gets resource support from other player and produce fleet and chances normal result of combat? (About 150 rips. ) And next day crushed by resource helper. Is not this pushing?


    Is that acceptable getting resource support during the combat and effecting normal result?

    AFAIK higher ranked players can give as much resources to lower ranked ones as they wish, as long as the resources wont allow the lower player to actually pass the higher player in rank or something like that.


    The wording of your question is a bit confusing though, the resource helper gave resources to the defender, who made 150 RIPS with it, then the resource defender crushed those RIPs to get some of his "gift" back or something? That might be pushing ...

    Brute force, if it's not working, you aren't using enough.

    would the first attack debris and the gift res turned into 150 rips' debris.. even add up to what the higher player sent originally before the combat took place....
    like i see where this is going but the math done in my head (and yea no real thought or effort was put into my math) the higher rank player would come out better by not giving you the res and have a fraction turn into debris plus his own deut bill for transport and harvest.. unless he pushed you to take you out of noob protection so they can hit you sooner than later..

    I'm pretty sure that the action of deliberately getting crashed is ALWAYS pushing, regardless of the gift prior.


    It's not a balance with a debit and credit side. It's a matter of 2 separate actions. One of which is legal, the latter of which is a push.

    Caught up in the game

    i would say this is legal for one reason


    a "trade can take 3 days"


    if the resource trader sends say 150mil res. then the "defender" deliberately gets crashed to repay the "resource helper" with 150mil res. doesnt matter how the resources was "traded"


    if i send some1 10mil crystal and say "give me it back tomorrow" and then they lose all their res, i would go crash some his fleet for the 10mil crystal back.


    does it matter who harvested the debris? i guess yes. i guess you send a ticket explaining it was a "trade" of sorts. as long as the higher ranked player doesnt profit id say this is fine
