We have been working on this one for a long time now - unfortunately our times don't always align super well and there was a lot of travelling going on over the last weeks on my part preventing us from taking a number of earlier opportunities. Today we had 2 windows - unfortunately we did not have all the fleets available for the first window, but when I saw inactivity again later on I did a quick scan and saw that the fleet was indeed not on the moon as usual - from there it took 7 minutes of checking for the DF to disappear and time back the fleet to the moon. For a short time the defender was online and I got worried he might be getting Jab or Parsec to help him out - so we delayed launch as long as possible. Luckily the defender timed again and did not return until after our fleets engaged in combat.
Special thanks go to my co-conspirators ConQuest and Dani - both of whom have endulged me and entertained my gut feelings a couple of times before we finally made this nice hit today.
It is worth noting that for a very long time Erasmo has been at the top of the military points ranking - at that time he could idle as much as he wanted as no one could actually take him out.
Since he has been back from v-mode he did become slightly more attentive to the fact that his fleet is no longer immortal - however, eventually extensive idling leads to loss of fleet - as it did here.
After some of the crafty hits of Parsec, Jab and Blackbeerd over the last couple of weeks - I will not deny that it feels good to get one under our belt as well again.
