We both get the same production, since 1.36 - 0.004 * average temp. [1] is equal to 1.44 - 0.004 * max. temp. [2]; because average temp. = max. temp. -20°C.

you are correct, essentially as the temp range is always 40 adjusting the formula from 1.44 to 1.36 accounts for the difference
