Today I'm officially going to open a marketplace of my own. It will involve resource trades and also the trading of ships for resources via the marketplace.
It works this way:
-I'm the one who makes the offer(not you), here, in this thread, and in case you are interested, you PM me in the game.
-It works on a first come first served basis. The first to PM me in the game(or other and better means of communication like Skype) accepting the offer will do the trade with me.
-After accepting to do the trade, you have 1 day for the trade to take place. If 1 day passes and you are unable to do the trade, I'll trade with the 2nd person who PM'd me, if available. If not, the offer will continue for 3 days until someone interested and able to do the trade appears.
-If the player is weaker than me, he has to send the resources first.
-I will not use the marketplace to trade resources.
-The trading rates are the following:
*I trade metal for deuterium at 3:1 rate. Merchant rate. Best rate available for those who want metal for deuterium. This is also the offer I'll be doing the most as well.
*I trade metal for crystal at 1.6:1 rate.
* trade deuterium for crystal at 1:1.5 rate.
*I trade deuterium for metal at 1:2.5 rate.
*I do NOT trade crystal because I'm needing it all the time, literally.
-My offers will always involve at least 1 billion metal and 300 million deuterium. I won't make any offers below these numbers.
-I ocasionally also sell ships, these of course, in the marketplace. Namely Reapers which are harder to get because of class restrictions(I'm a Discoverer). I sell them along with any other ship I may eventually sell at 2.5:1.5:1 rates so basically:
-Example of the Reaper unit cost when I'm selling it: 225.000 Metal or 135.000 Crystal or 90.000 Deuterium (+ market fees).
-If I post in the marketplace the ships and someone else takes the offer... Well... tough luck, you won't lose anything though, just the opportunity to get some ships. There's not an option to decide to who buys them, it's pretty much public.
-With the amount of probes I receive during expeditions, I can also offer moon shots for free for anyone with less than 10 million points.
At some point, eventually, when the marketplace is actually fixed, I may decide to use it for resources, and I will also use it for items.
That's pretty much it.

I'm going to change the way I sell ships. I will no longer ask for someone to PM me to buy the ships. As it happened in the offer before of 300 Reapers, one player came to me, I made the offer on the spot and the offer had a delay of about 15 minutes before he or I or anyone could see it the market, we didn't notice and of course, since my prices are "fair" or even "cheap", someone else took it away quickly. So I guess the marketplace is even shittier than what I was thinking.
So what I will do from now on is, I'll notify everyone here on the forum, in this thread about the offers I'm making and... first come first served. No need to PM me ingame. Hopefully you guys will put these ships to better use than me.
And I can avoid using them in the scrap merchant.
The prices of the ships will be as followed:

NOTE: I only sell the Heavy Fighter, the Bomber and the Pathfinder for Metal because these are ships that people are rarely building or looking for. So I make it easier for those people(basically everyone?) who have excess metal to buy them and make use of them.
NOTE 2:The Pathfinder is basically a Cruiser with 2x weaker attack Power and about 15% less Hull and 2x stronger Shield. However, it has RF against Heavy Fighters, against Light Fighters and also against Cruiser themselves, so while at it's original cost makes it's a pretty useless ship, at only it's metal price(at the cheapest rate at that), it might be worth having a few of these :). Their deuterium consumption is the same as the Cruiser but they have much larger cargo bays (10.000 vs 800, basically, 12.5x more) and can potentially be faster at level 18 Hyperspace Drive vs Cruiser at 20 Impulse Drive which are more or less the Drivers the top fleeters in old Unis have, and they will tend to upgrade the Hyperspace drive more often as well given that there's a lot more ships to benefit from it in comparison to the Impulse.
I will NOT SELL: Deathstars, Espionage Probes, Crawlers(I can't lol), Recyclers and Colony Ships.
