  • Such an informativ post, gj with all the hard work you put into it.
    If you dont like the settings there are plenty (they do open new ones like each 60-90days so) of other unis out there.

    For some (wont say alot since there isent alot of player left in all of Ogame combined) of us x1 Fleet is the PERFECT! setting. I myself used to play everything from x1 to x6 before but these days RL dont let me play a speed uni the way I like to play the game anymore.


    So if you like it, play it. If you dont like it, find another uni. Easy fix.

  • The main issue that i worked out for the 1x fleet before the server even got launched, is that 1x fleet makes Discoverer basically useless like a month in, and you probably may as well always choose to go Collector (which i personally find boring).

    Far from. Galatea is x1 uni thats now passing 9months and Discover is still by far the most unbalanced class.There is nothing a collector can do to be even close to a semi active (login once each 2h to send new expos) Discoverplayer in profit.

  • I quickly looked up Galatea to see what server your talking about.


    a) 9 months is a different timeline in a 2x econ uni. then a 5x econ uni, especially one that hasn't started with this class update.

    b) I'm curious what sort of profits you are making on a 6x multiplier for expeditions that would beat a miner that can get a real decent chunk of res from the 25% bonus + crawler bonus.

    c) do you know how much the collector buff can offer at all, or have you only played discoverer?

    a) Absolutly, this is very true but a whole other discussion. This was about the x1 Fleet setting.

    b) Atm Iam colllecting around 3-4M Metal, 2-3M Crystal, 3-500k Deu and 600DM per 2h. On top of this we have to take into account all the items and fleet found aswell, + the fact that the #1 has just past the 5M point mark not long ago.

    c) I myself have not played collector but math isent hard and there is alot of collectors out there with input aswell.

    d) Galatea is aslo a DiDF uni wich means Collectors have a very hard, impossible, time to defend those Crawlers.


    Collector willl pull ahead in time, I dont argue that. But for a relativ young uni as Galatea is still, where ppl still poping out new Astro lvls aswell, Discover is stilll by far the most profitble class as long as you actully send those fleets out on Explore.

    B) is somewhat stupid to be listed the way it is, your telling me that in your expeditions that you manage to get at minimum a metal drop, a crystal drop, and a deut drop every single set of expeditions? or are you not taking into account that using averages makes more sense?


    On Leda i average 1.5m per expedition, so on average you should be getting around 750k (this takes into account the rough increase in rewards for getting to 5m points) do you think collector bonus isn't getting close to starting to overtake what your getting?


    Or are you just taking something that is above average and calling it a day?

    B) This is on average after collecting data from around 400 Expos provided by myself, alliance and some outside ppl who where happy to help. I have not taken into account the increase in production from items tho.

  • Personally i wouldn't add the items, since i believe collectors can still get them off the expeditions (since they are tied to pathfinder and not discoverer)


    EDIT: And in noting the above, Collectors also get 2x rewards from Expeditions, so the gap for Collectors on expeditions doesn't exist as big a gap on a 2x econ server


    Also if that is the average you guys are getting, you are getting bafflingly different proportions then anyone i have talked to on Leda.

  • Top mines in Galatea are atm around 20M (not counting Commanders or classbonus) Daily income. Collector then gives you an extra 5M per day. Even if someone would cap on Crawlers on all their planets (noone is even close to that) That still only amunts to 1 or max 2, waves of Explorations. Sure, say the Collector is sending expos aswell (they should), with only 5 waves per day ( most ppl send more, but the more you send the more Discover pulls ahead) Dicover is still ahead. 2 waves to break even on the Collector bonus. 2 more to make up for the 4 waves Collector send. and then 1 wave to make profit.


    Might be we been lucky with RNG so far, 400 expos isent that many to judge a class by. More data is needed :)

    I wasnt play since 1 years and I have a question which I cant find any answer on board


    I cant call merchant cant find the merchant page in resourse market and only fill 10k resourse in the market and also cant fill storages %10 and half.


    can someone explain me thank you.


    edit: Merchant deactiveted for this universe okey I found it but cant understant the reason for storage fills anyone idea ?

  • whoami if U don't like uni settings just skip it. I hate all unis that have bigger fleet speed and play only x1 fleet speed, but I never went to board and tell how uni is shit because it's not what I want. People are different and have different preferences over this, learn it and respect others.
