excuse me i have been away some time, i login recently and i see new update, discoverers now get only 3% bonus on expeditions??? isnt that laughable? or did they mean 3x or 300%??
How did we go from 400% to 3% on discoverer????

that 3% means not much, the real formula is:
(eco speed if discoverer) * (if path finder in expedition x2 otherwise x1) * (if discoverer x1.5)
this means that if your uni has eco x6 you can get a x18 multiplier, which means 1800%
No F clue what does the 3% mean to be honest. -
wat do you mean by "if"
also i play on a 7x eco uni, how do we do that equation to get the real %%?
-

If you are a discoverer and bring at least 1 path finder to the expedition : 7*2*1.5 = 21 == 2100%

WOW , too bad it doesnt work for dark matter anymore :(....
still great tho, im very happy with the formula change, thank you for the solution.

it doesn't equal 2100%..it equals 21%...the formula is (Baseloot + Class bonus)*eco speed*pathfinder bonus...baseloot is always 1..class bonus for discoverer is 0.5. 0 for everybody else. Pathfinder bonus is *2 if you add at least one pathfinder on an expo
-
dude its 21 times, and its proven to be like that....
-
The 3% is just they hard coded how the % would show, and then decided to change the formula and it will always show .5 x Econ modifier rounded down even though that isn't the formula or the % used.
-
its (1+0.5)*eco*2 right now (21x in 7 eco)
when it should be (1+0.5*eco)*2 (9 in 7 eco)
-
"Should"
It's not like this was accidental at all. -
haha yeah youre totally onto gf here
-
Im still not buying that the max expo return for non-Discoverers is exactly the same at 1x eco as it is at 7x eco.
No way GF is that stupid. The class is ALREADY completely overpowered and broken. The formula we have been given is:
(Baseloot + class bonus) * eco speed * 2 for PF.
Baseloot for ALL players = 1.
Discoverers get a class bonus added of .5
THAT has to be the formula, and THAT alone is broken beyond recognition. -
Discoverer is (Baseloot + class bonus) * eco speed * 2 for PF.
Non-Discover is Baseloot * 2 for PF
-
no you still get eco speed for non discoverers.
-
Discoverer is (Baseloot + class bonus) * eco speed * 2 for PF.
Non-Discover is Baseloot * 2 for PF
What do you base that information on?
Miscommunication is my bet. -
yes because in my uni all the collectors are getting crap
-
Discoverer is (Baseloot + class bonus) * eco speed * 2 for PF.
Non-Discover is Baseloot * 2 for PF
What do you base that information on?
Miscommunication is my bet.The person that made the formulas for GF
also holy shit is it really that hard to just READ THE FORUMS LOL
-
Still an awesome % if any lucky

That "3%" (in the uni where I play it says 2%, but anyway) .... I don't think it has anything to do with the amount of loot you can find, I think it means that you have 3% more chance to a successful expedition.

No it doesn't, it's GF having hard coded the % they were going to use, and now have run into an issue where their hard coded % is now filled with .5 x econ modifier rounded down, and can't be bothered to change it.
