Manic Monday New player community event

  • Manic Monday player event.




    On The second Monday every two months on that Monday at 02:00 Server time and at 14:00 server time


    For thirty minutes all ships can be built buy all three classes.


    Also all players from all classes can start any mine or research,Facility .And as long as it is started in the thirty minute manic monday event times the build time will be thirty minutes.


    As long as the mine,research,And facility are started or added to the building que if you have commander they will have a build time of thirty minutes.



    All Ships will have a cost reduction. the nerf for the cost reduction is a % handicap for the event built ships.

    The handicap will be reflected in structural integrity, shields also each ship added to be built during the manic Monday event will have a minimum build time of three minutes per ship.


    The cost reduction I think should be as follows::


    Light fighter: cost 3000 metal 1,000 crystal after cost reduction :: 1000, metal 500 crystal.


    heavy fighter 6,000 metal 4,000 crystal after cost reduction:: 2500 metal 1500 crystal.


    Cruiser 20,000 metal 7,000 crystal 2,000 deuterium after reduction:: 9,000 metal 3,000 crystal 1,500 deuterium


    Battle ship. 45,000 metal 15,000 crystal after reduction:: 20,000 metal 8,000 crystal


    Battle cruiser 30,000 metal 40,000 crystal 15,000 deuterium after reduction:: 15,000 metal 15,000 crystal 10,000 deuterium


    Bomber 50,000 metal 25,000 crystal 15,000 deuterium after reduction 22,000 metal 10,000 crystal 10,000 deuterium


    Destroyer 60,000 metal 50,000 crystal 15,000 deuterium after reduction::35,000 metal 25,000 10,000 deuterium


    Death star 5mn metal 4 mn crystal 1 mn deuterium after reduction:: 3.mn. metal 2.mn. crystal 750,00 deuterium

  • well it kind of is possible since the % nerf on the ships comes from the cost reduction it's self. as far as attack strength of the event ships it can be nerfed with a 50% research benefit handicap. or even nullify the combat techs bonus parameters for the event ships .

  • I don’t hate the idea. I think it needs tweaking. Not every player can be online at those times so a whole bunch of players are potentially missing out on a huge boost. Personally I’m sleeping during one of those times and at work during the other. I’d be in favour of a 24 hour event but at some reduction.

    I can see that the event times could even be 10:00 Server time and 22:00 server time.


    now as far as mines research and facilities goes I will Clarify that ( a limit of 3 items will be built in 30 minute build times any thing past the first three mine/facility/research will have a normal build time I.E. 2 mines 1 research//> after normal build time. (mine/facility /research / research research/ mine ect. ect. ) 4 item normal.

    lf 3 min

    hf 3 min

    crsrs 5 min.

    BS 10 min.

    bmbr 15 min.

    desy 20 min.

    PF 15 min.

    rpr 25 min.

    RIP 45 min. per ship all event ships do not create debrie but can be used for moon shots


    sc 3 min.

    LC 5 min.

    recyc. 10 min.
