Well well...
After a fun morning in Octans denying rank 1 1.2B profits after his MD and his professional locking, ACS-ing and slowing 
, I went back to Norma and probed around after 1 week being a corpse here. First spotted 10B fleet of mr.Little landing from FS, too bad I didn't have enough deut and my mate was unavailable. Bad start...
Then spotted another 10B fleet with 52 timer from Wild Hunt in g4. This player used to iddle in short times, but he never sit his fleets like this so I found it very weird. Nevertheless, I jumped ships and prepare to fly. One huge problem I had was deuterium, I only had around 40M on that moon, and I needed around 80M for full fleets and fastest recs possible. I asked for help from my deut trader who was close, and he was able to transport me 17.9M deut with paths so only took around 11min to fly. I also deployed 30M deut from another moon, which took about 30 more minutes...
I waited a little longer to launch, since mr Glineni was 1 ss next to him with hyper 15. Then when the time came I launched and sent part of my recyclers on slower speed to consume less deut. The hit went through and I collected about 90k recs worth of debris. I check Glineni system every minute to see if his moon became active... So good so far, and my 30M deut deploy is going to hit soon..
Once it hit I sent the rest of my recyclers on 100%, checking Glineni ss regularly and still nothing... Until when my recs were 14+min from arrival, I checked his ss and 1 of his moons got active.... I checked on trashim to see his flight time and it turns out to be 13:28... He stole a huge chunk of the debris and his recyclers were exactly 1 minute and 25 seconds before mine... Tough luck I guess !
Profits weren't as high as I expected, but it was a nice fight regardless. Defender came on a while later and told me his alarm didn't work. Seems like he will stay and fight so I wish him a fast rebuild, but since Glineni told me he's going to return the debris to defender, I guess rebuild will become much faster than expected.
