    So I'm seeing a lot of he said she said for the reasoning but what's the official reason Marketplace isn't a thing anymore? It was a great way for me to make extra res selling extra ships or to trade res I had extra of or another type.

    As far as I know there wasn't an official comment on this.

    There is a current evaluation happening through the feature and while this is the case it won't come to new servers. Still to be determined the future of it, but things take time as you have seen in the recent updates. :/

    How do players get involved in this evaluation? I am sure players would have a lot of useful feedback and suggestions to make the market place work

    everything that gets shared here in stomt and in discord is read, grouped in feedback divided by communities and then put together for the product team weekly, new ideas make it to these rpeorts especially when they are shared throughout different languages or from a big part of the active community in a single forum. The way to go is expressing what you feel that has to be changed not just saying "X thing sucks".

    Please have actual focus groups instead. That is my number #1 feedback and suggestion.


    We had the new class system on the public test server and multiple bugs and issues were brought up on forums and never addressed prior to a release.


    All faith have been lost in your (gameforge) ability to synthesise and understand your discord/stomt/forum feedback.

    Pretty sure any focus group that Game Forge employees run are going to start with:


    "Will this make us money?"


    "No? Next topic."


    "Will this make us money?"

    "Will this make us money?"

    "Okay, well we did a great job of addressing all the topics from STOMT and DISCORD today people. Very productive meeting and we can sign all those action items off for each of those topics and address new ones at the next meeting."

    You'd think they would realize keeping the customer base happy is whats making you money overall. In the grand scheme of things sucking it up and doing a few things to keep the collective happy will generate more revenue. If people like the way the game is run well enough they feel more inclined to spend money on the game.

    piink this aged like fine wine with the merger huh? how did the stomt / forum / discord feedback work for you regarding the target uni decision? Please reconsider your feedback loop!

    its sad, now nobody can get crawlers/pathfinders if he doesnt play the class, which is kinda annoying since general somehow has no buffs on cargo ships, but on pf

    You can still find Pathfinders or Repears on Expedition. O.o

    If the Crawlers and Solarsatelites can be moved for example by Transporters, we could also be able to find them on Expeditions as well.

    its easy, who want crawlers then change class to collector. why discover and general can benefit with crawlers when colector have no benefits of other class.

    Its everything about making money with DM and Marketplace was lowering their cash flow. That's obvious the truth that nobody allowed to say. Because we do not officially know if they care about free to play or pay to win is more important for them.
