be active and stay unprofitable... trading to some fleeter will protect you of being raid from one party, but there will be others looking for you... this is the game.

It's a slow uni. If you're not profitable and don't have a big fleet you won't generally be bothered by anyone, so it's a good choice.

Here we have this U1 server, with 7x eco speed, but 1x fleet speed. So, the tip written above is right, just make sure to not be profitable.

If you need more than peace, a zen life, just go to an old settings server, 1x speed for all things.

If you want action, there are speed servers.

and about moons, don't worry, of course it happens, but I never heard about lose all moons on any player.

There are no 1x (FLT/ECO/RES) options for him in the exodus choices the Swedes were given:

Vega (122) = 2x Fleet / 8x Economy / 16x Researchspeed, 70% DF, +30 fields, 70% deuterium consumption + 8,000 Validation-DM

Bellatrix (154) = 3x Fleet / 8x Economy / 16x Researchspeed, 70% DF, 9 galaxies, +30 fields, 50% deuterium consumption + 25,000 Validation-DM

Rosalind (170) = 6x Fleet / 6x Economy / 12x Researchspeed, 50% DF, 50% DiDF, 5 galaxies, +25 fields, 50% deuterium consumption + 8,000 Validation-DM

Your lucky to get a 1x Speed uni, the last .org merge saw people merged from a 1x Speed server to a 2x Speed server with no option of any 1x Speed server ... Pogues suggestion is the best, just look at the top 10 ACS hits to find which bunch of fleeters are the most active and ruthless, then ask yourself ... do you swim with the Sharks or play with the Hermit Crabs ...

it's a 1x fleet speed, you don't need to be scared of anyone, a md out of ss is like 8h flight so you'll be fine

yeah anything to worry about, thats why there isn't rips in the uni

Borrowed this quote from another thread a few subjects down. There are some discrepancies, but I would agree with most of it. It pertains to the more well known alliances in U1.

Feel free to give it a read, browse the CR section and top 10 section (you’ll see my own alliance FGR, and Assassin alliance primarily, as well as Jeb and Rolue with their current feud), and take everything with a grain of salt.

• mining alliance, more-or-less active alliance
• okay-ish average account size, not very balanced though
• average member not investing a fortune into this game
• fleeting skill = average (a few pros in the alliance, but also a few guys who aren't very careful about their acc so they might leave something sitting from time to time), mining skills = pro, organization skills = pro
• all for one - one for all philosophy

5) something (Big Time?) Mining International [BTMI]

• mining alliance
• bad fleeting skills, pro mining skills
• trading resources on a big scale (both merchant and among players)
• not sure about activity or investing money into premium game

6) Republic of LUE [RoLUE]

• combo of mining + fleeting alliance
• fleeting skill is pretty fluid category with this alliance recently: a few pros, but also some that aren't that good at fleeting
• members mutually protecting each other
• no information on activity (mostly inactive I guess?)

7) Relentless Vanguards [RelVan]

• No relevant information on them, mostly mining alliance I assume

8 ) Baal shamim alliance [BAAL]

• combo of mining + fleeting, mostly the latter
• decent average account size
• fleeting skill = average (fleeters there are good, but miners not so, thus average grade), mining skill = above average (they don't get hit much)
• not very active alliance

Things to note:

Alliances 3) and 8 ) are trying to take down alliance 1) and vice versa. They don't like each other. No concrete results on this matter so far. Alliance 3) has some decent hits on alliance 1), but alliance 1) has the biggest hits on other players overall. If you join alliance 1) or 3) and get ninja'd, be prepared to suffer a dose of memes.

Alliance 2) usually gets decent pile of resources from alliance 5) in forms of big trades, as they have a trading agreement. Some of these trades get intercepted by alliances 1) and 3).

Alliances 4) and 7) are somewhat neutral and trades are done between their own members. None of these are closed to trading outside of alliance though, but it's understandable their own members have the priority.

Alliance 6) is somewhere in the middle of them all, living on their past glory when they were #1 alliance back in the old UNI1. Not sure who they trade with nowadays as I'm inactive, but they can try to crash anyone as well as get crashed by anyone.

EDIT: Just realized this is over a month old, oh well... not very useful reply of mine in that case. Still, analysis is here, hah

yeah it's not too easy either with the selections from the GY, you can't just join any 1x server from there, you must be outside the top 20 to be able to join ...
