Largest Planet Size by Planet Order

  • Hello everyone.

Sorry if this has been posted before, I was having issues using the search bar. But I wanted to know if there was a list of max planet sizes vs their order in the system. I saw a list from the fandom site but it didnt include how discoverer affected it.

I got a planet with 289 fields on slot 9, with discoverer and +25. Was just curious what the max possible amount was in planet 9.

    Thanks!

  • Slot 8 will give you 300 plus planet fields. If you don't get them the first time round delete it and keep trying. I have gone through many colony ships 60 plus attempts to get a 330 fields in a slot 8.That is also the best metal production location,

If you plan to be a miner the bigger the colony the better. slot 9 you can get 300 plus fields same with slot 7. But I find slot 8 the best.

Good luck, but get them fields as big as you can, perseverance pays off.

I have colonies outside these min/max parameters (fields as well as temperature) on Belinda.

As far as I can tell, my class (General) has no effect on this and I have no alliance class. I wasn't able to find information on the Board indicating Belinda has any changes to these.

Is there additional information I am missing?

    This is up to date:

  • That is the official chart given to me by Gameforge.

It is possible one of two things have happened

    1. The chart is out of date due to some unannounced changes.
    2. There are bugs in the system.

Honestly, I tend toward #2 above but there is nothing which says #1 is not in the realm of possibility.

There is a lot more possibilities.

    3. Dave Derpson isn't taking universe settings into account (i.e. +25, +30 bonus fields)

    4. The account was migrated from another universe and had some planets moved to different positions, keeping fields and temperature.

    5. The planets were relocated.

  • 3. Possible but would not explain the temperatures.

    4. Belinda is not a valid merge target for the Graveyard and has not been a merge target for the community closings so this should not have been possible.

    5. Also possible which could definitely explain things when #3 is also considered.

  • i have 2 planets relocated on pos 15 that are above charts min max temp , maybe Tirnoch is right

    -168°C to -128°C

    -141°C to -101°C

Those are within the chart's values. The chart only refers to the max. temperatur, i.e. the right one (-128°C and -101°C in your case).

Which brings me to a 6th possibility:

    6. Dave Derpson misunderstood the table in regards to temperatures.

But in order to determine what's the case, he needs to give some more information about his planets before we can jump to conclusions.

  • Hi guys,

    3. I specifically mentioned I wasn't able to find the universe settings. Is +25, +30 the case for Belinda? How should I be using these two numbers?

    4. Can confirm I did not migrate. I created this account in December on Belinda directly

    5. No relocations took place

    6. Possibly; I may have just answered my questions regarding temps

I know my own planets' min/max is always 40°C apart by rule, but I just noticed on the FAQ the min/max temps are also 40°C apart.

Am I safe in assuming the temp chart on the FAQ refers to the max temp of the planets? If that is the case, all my planets fall within the ranges on the FAQ (perhaps this could be mentioned in there? I don't want to think I'm the only one making this stupid mistake).

Belinda actually has no bonus fields. Maybe you had the Discoverer class and/or Researcher alliance class when you colonized the planets?

    That's exactly what I said.

Again, provide some examples and we can tell you for sure.

You're not, it definitely should be mentioned in the FAQ.
