Is it really true all of us who hate bots and similar scum use same bots or I am the only one in the world ? I just don't get it, where is the fun...
Why we would not then remove all the rules, we would have servers with at least 10.000 registered accounts, everyone will know 9500 are fake accounts, but at least galaxies will be full again and game will be much more fun, also, GOs would have more spare time to try and word on real improvement of the game, for example, you can limit it to max 20 or 50 accounts per real person, I do not think anyone would need more, or have time for more. Just remove the multi acc rule, and lets see then who will CHEAT BETTER!!!!!!

It's good that you made that thread. Despite being deleted it had good healthy discussion and some much needed venting.
Player Kelenken story about his dealings with bots also resonated with me. I think there's a valuable lesson there so hopefully he will continue sharing that story. With persistence of escalating tickets to GF level and putting pressure on them you might get results.

We've all been complaining about bots for years, some are pretty obvious and some aren't but either way, gameforge allows it up until there's concrete evidence of botting.
24/7 activity without building anything isn't good enough.
24/7 farming isn't enough.
24/7 expo wasn't enough.
20 accounts market trading to a single account and not making any significant growth wasn't enough
coming online during an attack every time at any time of the day isn't enough.
the list goes on.
Instead, what do they do?
If 2 legitimate players are playing under the same roof, then they can basically do nothing together, including trading, acs defend/attack, or support.
If a legitimate player attacks someone and another legitimate player probes the target within 20 seconds of impact then they're getting the ban hammer.
I don't agree with fight cheating with cheating, but c'mon GF use some common sense.
Ban players that are suspicious and ask for proof or reason, heck, even logs... make the right judgment call.
How are you able to farm 24/7?
How are you online 24/7?

You may also add what You said long time ago how Your friends noticed that mighty little machine guys aka bots fix bugs too
So according to Bot philosophy above, when no one can kill You or You can kill anyone with multi bot/multi push or universe is quite safe as no one can kill anyone what is the point in something that should be a war game

The rise of the bots…. Is it just coincidence a well used bot provider is doing a cut price on bots right now and the sheer volume of accounts now joining into vega server (and others)???
people are paying as little as €20 a month for bots and then hitting them or making vast trades with multiple bot accounts whilst their main account sits in vmode or is on constant FS for weeks on end.
if the staff can’t see this then I’m afraid this is simply going to get worse and more and more people will end up just “botting”
the volume of tickets being sent about bots and the usual reply of “we will look into this blah blah blah”… and nothing is done about it when some bots appear linked to certain players is disgusting.
i mean how many times have we all seen accounts simply become impossible to hit then someone comes out of vmode, crashes a bot, back to vmode and the bot rebuilds… and over and over we go? So blatant yet also ignored by a lot of staff. -
the dev team of this game is not even able to fix simple bugs... dont expect ever to catch or ban any bots ... just useless ...
the mods, or the ones that answer to tickets cannot do anything without the help of someone that can look into database for patterns of a bot...... soo without some tech team help i think nothing can be done...
and that "bla bla we will look into it " is just an automated answer i think ... so good luck at boting ! tech team behind game is just useless .. or game is dead....

nobody uses bots or scripts in ogame, its clear stated in the ToS:

The user is prohibited, moreover, from running the online game on other programs apart from the internet browser or the supplied client program. This especially refers to bots or other tools that are designed to replace or augment the web interface. It is likewise prohibited to use scripts and programs that give the user an advantage over his co-players.

You gravitate to cheaters, and cheaters to you...and you benefit from it every few days. Telling you must come out of vmode only when others are asleep to do you bidding.

This Bot philosophy above was put well what it really is Me and my friends played vs Your friends in Leda (You were in shadows
) and that was cr@p of playing which means cr@p of Universe because tireless little machines were so tireless as same as push accounts that were held through the Universes among friends It is not about You as You at all , it is about ALL who led this game into a boring nonsense by using whatever ch3at , which is the main reason of real players decrease
So, maybe if You ask Your friends what I asked above and they ask their friends and some of other boters/ch3eaters ask their , maybe they will reset their mindset and circle of ch3eat will lessen
