[TOT: 1.394.126.000] Karnivore [Kowboys] vs. Oswald Cobblepot [FU2] (A: 48.049.000, D: 1.346.077.000)TP:806.993.544

  • It sure is odd, but some players seem to always maintain consistent activity on their moons. Well, naturally, this inspired a certain, let's say, healthy curiosity on our part. So, we watched, we waited, we learned, as we always do. After a few days of observation, we knew when the target would log off to the exact minute. We knew we had a window of about 4 hrs before they returned to recall. Mobiles landed, Diesel and I gated new moons and launched RIPS. Moons went down, target came on, we lanxed and did the dance of death together.

Now, I won't lie. I am disappointed it was not the full fleet, and that the cargoes were not stuffed to the brim. But in the end, it was fun to track the target on deploy recall and time him back, especially after spending one year away. Much has changed in the uni, many of the former players and targets I knew are gone, while some still remain. Higher ranked now, of course, but that doesn't really matter now, does it?

We have a list, of those moons that never seem to turn off. And we will come visit, very soon.

This one is for the Ronin and KOWBOY squad :ninja:

  • Nice teamwork guys, when will people learn that 24/7 activity is more of a red flag than a deterrent lol.

Pity about the cargo bays not being full, but there is always a next time :wink3:

  • Nice catch, will have to remember when I finally exit v-mode, that we have someone back in the universe who can actually do a timeback, something I have literally not been worried about for ages LOL

It's really not that difficult to show activity all the time without doing anything illegal, even when you aren't really playing, just near your computer and, as most people now days play, on your phone but I won't tell you how :shrug:in fact it's as easy to show activity when you are offline as well, just requires effort,

A little disappointed that Cobblepot was so predictable both in what time he fleetsaved and when he went offline, have my ingame mesages of love fallen on deaf ears? Puniishment shall be dished out on my return, haven't had a foot rub in ages *wiggles frodo toes*

I'm sure you enjoyed the profit, and as that was clearly nothing more than a duet fleet, you better have rebuilt it by now Cobblepot.

    Thank you Marley :hi:

We have negative community. Hopefully players will start to migrate to older unis where players with experience will start to mentor them.

This is not a first time someone mentioned that there is tricks how to make activity. Because of skepticism people refuse to accept this. That's why it's needed to repeat this message often.

I think you're messages are respected by majority in this community.

    Attacker impressive skill, defender fr

  • the defender has recovered in points, a commendable effort indeed! Also relocated several planets, all of which I found again.
I’ve seen many players keep activity on their moon using a variety of tactics, some legal others not so much. Concerning the legal ways, there are many, and it is not that I am unaware of them. My point is that the consistent activity is a sign that I read indicating someone likes to go afk, even for intervals of 15mins or less, and appear like they are still there. THAT’s what’s inviting. The flag this raises, the blatant cry, “I am not here, but I want you to think I am!!” In those cases, just launch on * anyway. Not sure which of all the possible options fit this defender, but in the end, it was a pleasure.

Timing a deploy recall back is certainly a very basic skill, especially compared to what some of my colleagues here can do. Not to mention the ones in graveyard patiently waiting to come when the new targets come :) then, we will see some real skill. Until then, I appreciate your words and will continue to entertain
