Arrangement for FS using 15 position

  • Hi everyone, maybe someone will explain to me in practice because my head will explode from counting and tables.

I got some free relocations after mergers, I have 14 planets and 250 million points, playing pure economy on collector class - after so many years of active play i wanna go this way for sure.

My question is - as we know the best Fleet Save is from moon to moon in same system BUT! when i want relocate all my planets to slot 15 for extra deuterium is good make something like that in one solar system for example 1:200:14 1:200:15 or 1:200:15 1:201:15 <--- in this way on deplyoment i still using much more deuterium then haveing 2 planets i 1 solar system. ATM my fleet is maybe 25 mlns, but i think long therm :P my universe is so old so sometimes whos can for fun destroying my moon.

Help me please, how you have Arrangement the planets because I have no idea anymore - maybe spread them every 200 solar system in few galactis and ignore the double moon FS system.

  • First of all, I suggest you to consider not relocating planets to 15th position but on 8th position. For pure miners and if you have big mines (around 44/36/40, more or less) you have bigger production overall because of 35% boost in metal production on 8th position (considering 3:2:1 trade factor). Every deuterium or crystal that you need, you can just trade them for metal at Trader/Resource Market (for 3500 DM or free trades that you get on expeditions). Also, you don't have to level Energy technology and Fusion reactors.

  • true, thanks atm i got 14x8 but for endgame i dont want many satelites(crawlers and high lvl mines need many of it) because some ppl can destroy it for fun like now. Second reason is i got 20 free relocations so why not :P

I dont buying metal package i got right now fusion reactor 22 and energy technology 24 so im prepared for recolation.

Just need a little bit of think about arrangement.

  • If you don't have big fleet there is really no need for twin moons. Just spread your planets every 200ss and FS on deploy always randomly.

Twin moons are MUST have for big fleets, because of deut consumption, especially if you play safe and recall deploy before bed. For smaller fleets made mostly from transporters no need for twin moons.

  • In that case, you can even run fusion reactor and 0 satellites on 8th position and you are still better off. Of course, I am talking about not buying metal packages, just trading metal for crystal or deut. Metal mines just scales much more then other two with +35% boost and you can easily cover "losses" on crystal and deut. department with it.

On the other hand, you will be trading metal on 8th position or metal and deut. on 15th for crystal, so there is no difference.

But it's personal choice, on what level you want to optimize your production as a miner.

Just an idea: You might be able to find very cold planets on 8th positions with your free relocations, because temperature changes with relocations. And there is big variation in planet temperature within just one planet slot.

    Good luck!

  • Big big thanks to you guys and ur time!

these my 'thoughts' came from here, that after the migration I decided that my universe will be my last and I want to lead them reasonably. But as we know, 35% metal boost mixed up a bit.

So in this moment i spread planets every 200ss in few galactis <- this is what i think at beggining and yeah when i 'vegetable' a bit i change moon, I play peacefully but this is ogame, never know if someone will be bored :p Maybe someday I will really want to farm a little again.

  • Fusion reactor and energy tech (and late game if you improve your energy tech you get extra energy on every planet) are more than enough to power your mines without the need for Sats on any position, the production doesn't change, me personaly I favour slot 15 for the increased deut production as all I ever trade is deut, I'm always looking for crystal and metal, and I get a better rate selling deut.

Something to prepare for if you do choose slot 15, is to terraform your planet to whatever level you plan to terraform to before you relocate it, it's a tad difficul to get enough energyy when your sats only produce 1 energy LOL, I usually take one of the many free 80% energy boosts, then build enough sats to terraform to level 10, then when I'm done I scrap the sats to get some of the res back, and let the boost run out when it does.

Oh and spread your planets, a) so you can have a random fs, never to the same place twice in a row, or in a pattern that can be tracked and always on deploy. and if you use inactive to suppliment your income you have a bigger range to work from, I have seen so many people raiding from 6 galaxies away because all their planets are grouped together over a few systems, and really your flight time is an hour or two, I can get to most targets in 20 mins or less, who is going to get the cookies me or you?

    Thank you Marley :hi:

Thanks to all of you everything is clear and understandable, for sure this knowledge will also be useful to others who have similar thoughts in their heads.

I have no more questions, everything was great explained to me :cookie2:
