Orbital den

    Hello everyone,

    I've been trying out the new lifeforms expansion on Bermuda, the test server.

    I have been very interested in the Orbital Den, by humans.

    It just says: "A portion of the resource supplies will be stored here safe from plundering."


    What does that mean? Is that a portion of the resources that I have? That I produce in a day? In a week? In an hour?

    The fraction that is claimed to be covered grows quite quickly, too, 4% per level. I could easily go past 100%. But, 100% of what?


    I tried building it, created a new planet with no storage for metal, built up some levels of metal mine, and hovered over the metal resource.

    It still said "Den capacity: 0", even if I had researched quite a few levels of the Orbital Den.


    Any input? Any help?

    I think it increases your already exiting den capacity (look it in window when you hover over resources icon). So 100% of Orbital Den means it doubles your den capacity, form 1M den to 2M, let's say.

    Thanks for the answer, but I'm still confused.


    If I research an extra level of Orbital Den, my den capacity (as indicated in the window that appears when I hover over my resources) stays completely unchanged. I even tried resetting my Tier 1 technology tree, thus bringing my Orbital Den level to 0, and it had no effect: the den capacity stayed exactly the same!


    Am I missing something?
