Have Max Moon Chances Increased?

  • Noticed after trading 1 MS in Gaspra that the Moon % was 21%.

Took a look to the forums and seeing 21%, 22% - Has it changed or is it a bug?

The chance for a moon to be created from the debris was 22%.

The enormous amounts of free metal and crystal drew together.

A moon was formed around the planet with a diameter of 8.426 km.

  • Depending on the moon phases, you will have a slight increase in moon chance. I believe it's 3% at full moon and 0% bonus when it is least visible.

  • It has been explained several times on this forum. It doesn't really have a meaningful impact on the game, so I haven't saved anything or know where to find it. It's been a while since I last saw someone ask about it, you might have to dig more than two years back.

If you want to make smallest moons when chance is 1%-during the full moon time, you have 4% chance of success. But is better to wait for event max 40% or special date with max 30% chance. Why to do that? Small moons are easy to destroy and good to hunt the "blind wolves". Anyway during full moon only meanly 25 tries are needed, when new moon it is 100.

I've measured this for all last year:

  • Your math is flawed. The size of the fleet makes up the first 20%.
