  • this is ridiculous, how this is posible, 500 DS enter any defense, ogame do something encreases the damage of defenses, because the game becomes silly and pointless.


    Look my tecnology, im the defender: armour 24, shield 21, weapon 22... and the other guy 20, 20, 20 this is so stupid, 500 DS cost a round 5bill of material, the defense about 2.5 billon of material .... this is so stupid, stupid game



    o dear god.. 500 DS vs 10000 plasmas is a draw... the game is so so stupid, im going to vacation mode, ogame what do you have to say about this??, does not seem unbalance, for thiis reason any ship enters any planet

    i mean you invested half the resources that the attacker invests, and you hold the ground and still complain ?


    what do you think it would be fair ? you build one rocket launcher and it will stop 1 million deathstars ? :D

  • Basic rule of turtling is you need to fight fire with fire aka have some RIPs of your own behind the wall. Also your techs are pretty similar, your 24 armor is literally useless against RIPs which will one shot any unit, same with your shield tech, so better up that weapons tech. Also as stated the attacker has invested double what you have, so why shouldnt they win?

    never win but is a draw, that's not fair, cause he destroy all my defend and he doesnt lose anything.


    the battle is 20-1 (20 plasma x 1 DS) he should be lose a least 50 DS if is a draw, how many plasma needed to beat a 1 DS .....40x1 its senseless, less than that it is always a draw and the defender lose everithing and the attacker nothing. is not fair

    3 millon of deut.. is nothing.... but ... i have defend, and 75% of debris is a lotttt ... and a death star fleet never misses a ship... its ok that a death stars fleet win or draw but they need to lose something,,, 75% of debris in defend is too much, encrease the defend power or decrease defend debris (30%)........ the game is unbalanced

  • 1: Ions are useless. Always have been, always will be.
    2: Those are some terrible defence ratios. You want zero Ions, and far more fodder in general, though that's not what helps you against RIPs.

    3: Best defence against RIPs, is RIPs hiding behind a fodderwall and plasmas.


    Your defence proposal costs:
    1.260.000.000 Metal, 745.000.000 Crystal and 156.000.000 Deuterium


    50 RIPs, 400k RL 100k LL and 5k plasma costs:

    1.450.000.000 Metal, 500.000.000 Crystal and 200.000.000 Deuterium

    With the given techs for both attacker and defender, and an attacking fleet of 500 RIPs, this is the result:

    Losses Attacker 1.360.000.000 Metal, 1.088.000.000 Crystal and 272.000.000 Deuterium

    Losses Defender 362.663.000 Metal, 90.775.000 Crystal and 45.390.000 Deuterium

    Attackers loses half the RIPs, Defender loses none.

    (note: the above is an example for defending against RIPs. That defence will require some additional work (though still no Ions) to protect against light and/or heavy speedfleets. I does illustrate why it is important to play around with a sim, trying hundreds if not thousands of different scenarios to find the best solution for your particular situation)

  • It is worth adding that, in a uni this developed, some players might have between 10k and 50k rips... so 50 rips will be easy pickings behind some lower level def


    a 100B fleeter/ripper will always beat a 100M miner/turtler regardless of the def
