I would agree with the general consensus, especially given the difficulty to get into the higher tier of lifeforms (and even with doubled research speed, we'll still take long to get high up)

I favor this as others have said but I would add probe storage. Fleet speed is fine. We are in a balanced universe after all. Increasing peaceful fleet spees will only encourage people to park planets peacefully next to you and launch attacks from there. I get enough of that in the peaceful universe I play in.

Prongs It appears we have gotten together and this is the consensus. An update would be much appreciated.
I highly doubt you'r gettin anything since even we in dione who won our voting now with 70% , we won't get it due merges inc, since who knows when merge is coming even, they wont change anything, so i'd say this agreeing here and etc was and is kinda pointless until merges... It's painful truth, but yh... seems its hard to push few buttons, twice.

Since the setting polls elsewhere are in limbo waiting for the result of the other poll you have seen recently regarding the minimum % for changes to take place and the fact your server cannot have a poll until atleast the 11th.
In the mean time can I ask that you guys at least discuss and come up with a general consensus on what change you would like to occur, for example x4 eco to x8.
We cannot run a poll if we do not have at least some consensus on the board here of what you would like the poll to be.
I would recommend you all work together to come up with one option, more than one option would only make it harder to reach the required % you guys need for a change to occur.
Once we have a fair amount of comments here and some kind of consensus I can highlight to the Admins to get a poll underway.

Just curious if there is any movement on this? The mentioned polls have passed and Halley is exempt from the merge so there shouldn't be any roadblocks for a vote.
I will take this to the other Admins and Prongs and see if we can have an official poll based on:

I would like to point out that in a nearby future there will be a need to merge these new LF universes, and the sooner we get the x8ecox16res boost the sooner we can start catching up to the other universes. Why does it have to take this long to make this server more attractive for the already few people that still play on it. Come on guys, let's get this Universe update under way, it will be a breath of fresh air for everyone =)
they don’t normally merge universes less than a year old so you guys probably won’t get merged until next year now. Any changes aren’t likely to happen until after merges are done if GF does what they normally do.

What he is saying is that Halley needs the boost now to be competitive when the merge eventually happens in the future. Halley turned six months old on January 11th making it eligible for an increased economy. It should not take this long to even get a poll up.
