OGame.org and merges

    I would prefer more Vega than uni1,i mean c'mon imagine me going from x6 speed to x1,thats like going in the train in Japan and going in the train in Bulgaria.

    5 or 6 galaxies? What the hell is that? The reasoning for moving away from the full 9 is questionable. The reasoning for ALL of this is questionable.


    Next time around put all of the options to a vote, not just the options Admin prefers. Listening to us and then doing what you like is not really listening.


    Working on new ways to merge is still working on a problem downstream from the game polluting cheating. It is like they are TRYING to kill player enthusiasm. Band-aid on a gut wound.

    If you're an unsatisfied customer my recommendation is to open tickets and then elevate them since our feedback is obviously ignored here and the current GAs and COMA don't have the player's best interest at heart....that is if you even care anymore. I know one thing for certain, I will never open a new account in a new universe only to have to go through this every 2 years or so. Much better to acquire an existing account, take it to the graveyard, and then take it somewhere with settings that suit your lifestyle.

    Danimanza : I'm curious about a thing. At page 12 you did a proposal with Quantum as target uni. At page 17 (you posted a new proposal) it disapeared and also in the final merge poll it's not there. What happened in the proces that that option went of the table?


    I'm also curious which options didn't make it to the poll. I want to know the considerations the team and GF makes when making options for the merge polls. I mean the better we know how the team and GF thinks and what's (im)possible the more constructive we can discuss in threads like these.


    Also because we get next year probably another merge (which I read in your post at page 17). I saw some people reacting disappointed when they saw the merge options (I'm not btw, I can live with it), I think it helps them too when they understand the considerations which were made.

    What happens to the top 10's?


    At an earlier merge, top 10's were merged from exodus unis into target unis. This created a mixed top 10 with CR's from exodus unis and the target.


    Last merge, I believe the top 10's from exodus unis were just moved to the archives. This time we have 2 clean slate unis with no existing top 10's. Will the top 10's from exodus unis go to the archives and be forgotten, or merged to make a new combined top 10. In the case top 10's do get merged, where do which exodus unis top 10 go?

    Why does this happen every merge? Always the same. You create universes with speed settings of x1 war and x2-4 Peaceful. And after each merge such universes disappear! Last time I was forced to register a new uni due to the fact that I could not/did not want to adapt to the speed of the target uni. And what now?!

    Dione, Earth, from new (in future) - Gaspra, Lacerta, Mathilde.

    For these universes, there is not a single target of the universe that would preserve the difference in speeds (x Peaceful > x War)


    And after the merger, gameforge will again create new universes with settings such as Dione or Earth and the like.

    If you keep creating such universes, then people have a need? (otherwise there wouldn't be so many of them). Then why does each merge bypass these settings.

    Weell Option 1 and Settings 1, is one of the best broadly, looking at uni stats that are merging most are quiet not to far from each other. Tho' I'd gladly prefer 9 over 5 glx only, it gives more room " to breathe " and with no free relos or thing anymore, it might be fk** abit but w/e .. that's just my opinion and i appreciate everyone's . But ye, that ogame needs a change yes, why sudden merges all over forcings, well my short answer would be " LifeForms " , my "longer answer would be :" They need to put less stress on servers, and laggs, and coding with a count of unis being less then it is rn, so it gets easyer to do "GLOBAL Lifeforms" update, then just comm by com, and handling all errors and stuff that will 101% happen across multiple platforms with so little coders working for ogame section. x) BUt waiting for Lf's is also just waste of time, should apply now and work on them, instead wait wait "to fix bugg excuses" , when there will always be buggs, laggs, and code errors nevertheless if u apply it now or "after buggfix" . True example of that is Ogame app.. 21st century and all we can see each update is , fixed bug bug bug bug bug bug bug , instead "implemented or upgraded this that this that this that " .. hah typical :) Anyways, let the joy and fun begin. So guess prepare since i guess Merges here might come as soon as few weeks after voting ends. :)

    I still have many pages to catch up, I'm on page 15 now, but why do we always get these retarded fleetspeed choices? Why does the friendly speed have to be faster?

    It's an issue with every single ****ing merge! Can't GF do any better?


    Last merge we were given s**t choices and because that worked so well we get more s**t choices.


    Can't you make 4-5 new unis with fleet speed:
    1x

    2x

    3x

    4x

    5x


    8x eco, 16x research, 60-70% DF, ACS, NO DiDF

    and let PEOPLE CHOOSE where THEY want to go?

    if you create 5 new unis then there’s no point in the merge in the first place. They’re trying to condense 8 unis into 3, that’s the point of the merge.

    thats called once again MUTUAL CARE, CONSIDERING EFFORTS someone INVESTED, BEING EDUCATED AND WELL RAISED! those are all old ways that our parents TAUGHT US. UNLIKE you new "kids - people " who just cry or don't even care for anything but yourselves. Ogame old one classic since 2006 that i palyed, posts were thrown to each and every unis ppl did/did't played cause of one more in common thing we all had back than, that is lost nowdays, and that is RESPECT towards others. But i guess telling this each time doesn't ring bell even to cow wearing one itself. So nvm, just enjoy 'ur fullness your highness.

    I have never posted outside of UNI 1 / UNI 17. I don't bother reading posts from all the other UNI's, I block them on the board as soon as they come out.

    Playing since OCT/2007. Only one account, same account. Merged to UNI 1 from UNI17 in first merge.


    If you don't like it, leave. Every merge the same type of whiners.
