Joined in march 2005. Uni3. Enjoyed the community a lot then. I have good memories from pre-officers and DM. When the game was bout skill and dedication and careful tactics and very long term strategies were developed. Nearly all the old timers i knew and appreciated are gone. I guess they would have zero interest in what the game and what is left of the community have become. I was badly addicted. I quit in early 2019. I felt a big relief then.

hehe also yh im here since u2 so long long time, probably 99.9% don't even know how it was to play on dial UP connection, with as little as 10-50kbps .. ( and yes we'r not talking about MBS - GBS - TBS , but KBS!!!! .. imagine just for example, simple song 3min long that u download nowdays takes 1-5seconds in some cases, back then it took 5-15mins MINIMUM and if u were lucky to be somewhat in middle of city.. xD ) that's how OLD I'm! -
On the web, i recall downloading stuff at sometimes 4 kilobytes per second. On a computer that wasn't powerful enough to play .mp3. Plus, in the 80's i had (i still have) a Commodore 64 computer whose disk drive interface has a bandwith of 0.25 kilobytes per second. And 64 kilobytes of RAM.

Im on Thuban UNI but have played off and on since 2006 which was UNI 37 that was the newest one at that time. As you all know it looked much different back then 9 planets was all you could have.

Does playing in Uni2.ba count? I was about 10 when I started playing OGame. Im 1994. OGame had truly been one of my top3 favourite parts of history that I can remember. Unfortunately I haven't been around on .org at the time, Didn't even know it existed. I remember that I was amazed by 500 battleships that my friend had. I also hacked a older brothers friend Email (Asked around for his info and guessed right the password.) I got super scared when he found out it was me, he also threatened on forum that hell kick my ass, he was few years older and much stronger so I had something to be scared of. But it was totally worth it because that account had a moon! Btw. I think its that particular account that had its moon bugged, I could build as much as I wanted without having to buy that moon terraformer thing. Sadly there's no such thing as OGame.ba now, no one that I know plays it still, I guess I'm of the rare what's left of OGame fanatics.
This game is still super important to me because it's all I have after I'm done with my job. Honestly, my dream is to find a girl of my dreams and plays this with me in a very little time that's left after working... The problem is I can't get attracted to girl if she isn't super hot or if she doesn't believe fully in god. To be honest, I can't team up with someone unless they to have God on their first place and then everything else. Thats why I have 1 friend and 0 girlfriends. Anyway, nice to see there are still players of this game. I've recently came back (1 day before Uni1 20th Anniversary), I've formed an Alliance on 20th Anniversary too, so if someone who has God in his heart is free to join and battle the evil with me. I'm playing on Uni1, started fresh, I don't need a RES pack because I want to feel the game again as it is. Im hoping ill find friends here. Well, I have been talking a lot now, I should quit. as far as i remember there is still .ba domain that merged into .hr.. there s few unis and handfull of players.. myb u could try ur luck there?

Yeah it was hella fun back then, I remember when I was 8th grade, i used to run away from school and play all day OGame at the public library.. Just siting in front of PC, looking at numbers and listening to YouTube. Thats all I did whole semester. There was a PP (Padawan Project) Alliance if you remember on the .ba server. I was in it.
