Is there any truth to this that sending an esp probe with expeditions allows you to find (more?) ships?
has Gameforge confirmed this? I recall people saying it works like that but i never seen anything in the game saying so.
Should i send a probe with expeditions or no?

no, probe provides information about system depletion, relevant to the gains or not, thats all probes do as far as im aware.
pathfinders increase gains if you are disco tho

Pathfinders increase gains regardless of if you're Disco or not.

jub 1 pathfinder doubles the gains, if disco or not.
i don't carry a prob with me, so I don't have to choose between espionage or expo mission everytime ^^
if you send exp just from one planet/moon it may make sense, just to check density, otherwise its easier just to fill 16 and enter to send expeditions imo

mainly reason of sending probe is to see the last message witch says if system is empty, full or such, or better said it's depletion level, other than that its no use honestly.

PF doubles the finds, yes. But you still send 415 LC + 1 PF.
