Display MoreDisplay MoreI don't even play this Uni, but I've been following all these crazy posts from Luna, because honestly, they're some of the most ridiculous posts I've ever seen and damn entertaining. And I've been around since this game started so that's saying a lot.
Luna, while you may think your actions are honorary, your bank account doesn't get to dictate how other people play this game. Period. Like, demanding players to message someone they plan to attack 24 hours notice? That defeats the entire purpose of how this game was designed and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The true joy of playing this game, is learning different playstyles, interacting with other players in-game and on the forums, celebrating your victories and learning from your mistakes.
Here's how I see things playing out for you, Luna, if you continue on with your antics. And I really would advise you to stop before one of them becomes a reality.
1.) The vast majority of players quit the Uni when it's barely gotten started. You're on record pace for the fastest time in killing a Uni as it stands right now.
2.) The most experienced players band together and pick you apart and make you quit. No amount of DM will save you. They will make your experience a living hell and you won't be able to function at all. You highly underestimate how revengeful Ogame players can be.
It's great that you support GF financially to keep the engines running and it's great that you're active in-game and on the forums. But, the way you're going about it, is ruining the player experience in an already struggling game, in many ways. Hopefully you see why that is very soon.I agree with you here , he seems to not understand that experiance fleeters made players go blue even for no profit at all if they percive someone a threat > rule of the jungle eat or be eaten .
He has no fleet ok sure but there is more than one way to skin a goat . If top fleeters band togheter they can make his life a living hell smash his sats daily , run fake attacks , bombard him with spy reports messages oh damn iv seen some shit over the years and that constant harrasment gets to you until you make that little mistake that costs you time effort and resources .
Hopefully they see the error in their ways. This game and community needs all the active players it can get at this point. I just returned to this game recently after taking more than a decade off. I'd really prefer this game not die, due to unrealistic demands from any type of player.
Sometimes things seem like the norm until some one has the guts to change it. I dont want to break the game. All I desire is for people not crash people who dont want to fleet. All I am asking for is for people to stop attacking each other unless both sides consent. Is that not reasonable?
Did the Japanese give the Americans a 24h heads up before pearl harbour , did the Germans give the Russians a 24-48 hour heads up before giving them the finger in the bum , did the Russians give the Ukrainians a 24h heads up before attacking them ?
Nop , and why should they ? in war you either play dirty and get an’ advantage or you play nice and hope you win in the long term .
Rl is not a perfect world and by god OG not even close ;)))
