Universe Specs change Mathilde

    Hello all,

    I've seen that Narvi users just asked for a Specas Change. It seems we can change universe settings by setting a poll after 6 month.


    Would you like to have a setting change?

    My thougts are boosting economy from 4x to 6x or 8x. In fact, in case that we'll be merged with other universe, the one that will have slower economy will be far behind.

    Regarding economy, i could change on not, i'll join the majority.

    About the fleet speed, I think everybody who joined the universe have habits with the fleet speed so i won't touch it. We all builded our accounts taking care of the war fleet speed. It match how much time we want to dedicate to this game.


    Let me know your thoughts, and if we're several to ask for, we'll ask GA for an official poll.

    Sage  Prongs this thread is 2 days old and nobody replied despite the fact tag I tagged most of the « active » players here. How many days should we wait until we can start an IG poll?

    This uni is dead with less than 800 players (and how much active?). Most of them don’t use the board btw.

    To be honest, I'd have to think on this more before I would give an educated response on the subject itself. I agree though that this uni is dying, but that's what happens to every uni with the state of this game now. And it happens very fast.

    yeah so it will merge quickly and if we want to stay competitive we should increase economy speed to match universe we could merge with.

    Well, i am sorry to tell you that, but i am inactive for quite some time now. 9x9

    And i don't plan on returning.


    The uni is dead indeed. when i stopped to log in, there was more than 900 players.

    to add up, there are those Hard-DM-Users crashing most players and ruining the game completely.


    I had better hopes when the uni was around 2-3months old, but i dont see a future in it now.


    Most important of all, my RL has been taking up all my time.

    So…I’m an old Ogame player so this uni merging etc is new to me.


    So when we merge, we’ll have to adapt to any settings that universe may have? So even though that Universe could be older and have 8x economy etc?


    Either way extra economy would always be welcome of course, but just trying to figure out what the usual criteria for merging unis is

    Yeah Rusty told me. Good louck IRL :D. As i've go trhough this situation I can told you that fleeter is not an option for you anymore :'( But nevermind, that's a lot better than this game.

    Rusty told me he have no board account but he's in the right direction and agree with a economy speed change too.

    Yesh new to me too. I hope we can merge quickly so we geet new player to fight with. And to be conpetitive, we need to have matching economy speed. It will be a good challenge and we just need to hang on until it happen, it' will be as a restart, new target, new opportunities, maybe new alliance who knows.

    Sage Prongs thread has been few days now. More than 5% of the active players answered this thread. Most of the players don"t have a board acocunt. Please can you active an IG poll for spec change?

    I did see your request, but I was waiting to be sure before replying.

    We need more votes, although it seems difficult to get them. I understand this difficulty and it's being taken into account, but we still need more players from the universe to express themselves.

    I'll continue to watch this topic to see how it evolves.

    I agree we need to change the uni some how.

    going from x4 to x8 would be a nice change, the trouble i see would be if we did change to x8.. then soon after merge with a uni that was x8 from the start... they would have months ahead of us (unless a new ofc)... but yes, i agree it would be a good change. something needs to be done!

    I still have an account here so Ill vote to yes for x8 eco, maybe in the future Ill get some reliable internet and play here and x8 would be nice to have to catch back up.


    One thing everyone should consider is metal packing will be 2x as effective so expect the wallet warriors to gain even more

    i play Ogame since early 2000, i saw it started, have played few rounds. and i see it now. overall i see where it goes. early Ogame was slow and steady all was fine, as a life at that time. but today life and people goes faster and it is really hard to keep something in attention of people(players). world goes fast, something changing every day, hour etc. and people/players needs more and more and another feelings. some players has "already played" in our uni Mathilde and in other unis too, i think. and more and more become bored or tired. unis become dead. i understand thar merge question is a question of time and probably Mathilde will merge with some faster uni. if Ogame team has plans for merge, i would like to upgrade eco/reserach speed to merging uni level now so Mathilde's players can prepare and no changes to fleets speed:) but if Mathilde will be main uni in merging i would like to change eco/research to x8 and no changes to fleet. in total i prefer to let all as is, but i understand that Ogame team will spend too much resources to keep many Unis with small amount of players and financial it is not profitable. So, looks like merge will come in future

    Hello, I'm also an older player and never played in a uni that got merged. I understand the need to change in order to keep up with the universe we will eventually merge with, however I feel we are missing necessary information, such as which server we are merging with and more importantly its settings. I understand that we won't know this until it's too late and we need to take action sooner in order to even the field. As long as the fleeting speed won't change, I believe the research and economy could use a boost.


    Edit: I wouldn't mind faster peaceful speeds
