Forum changes

You've probably already noticed, but we're changing a few things on the forum.

Currently, here's what's been done:

More changes are coming soon and will be detailed on this post.

The "Feedback & Criticism" and "Suggestions" sections have been archived. A new section "Feedback & Suggestions" has been created.

This section operates in a completely different way. Suggestions will now have a voting system and will be forwarded to GF when the community seems to be in favour.

We hope that this section will help us to better communicate your wishes to GF.

Topics have been archived and sub-sections (War Room) removed.

Due to this change, an updated version of this post: Universe Section Rules will be available asap.

Following on from the previous changes, which were as follows:

=> Creation of sub-sections (Market, Diplomacy, Tavern)

=> Removal of wars and its section

It therefore appeared necessary to redo an updated version of the rules for the universe section and its sub-sections.

Here are the new topics:

• CR-Section Rules
• Market Section Rules
• Diplomacy Section
• Tavern Section

There were no major changes, the main aim being to clarify the role of the sub-sections for those unfamiliar with the forum, and to update the CR and Marketplace rules, mainly in visual terms.

One change should be noted, however:

The end of headhunts.

The reason for this is that it's a feature that wasn't really used on the forum.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the forum team. If you notice that new topics are missing in certain sections, please don't hesitate to contact me.

New: You can now change your forum nickname without submitting a ticket!

To do so, click on your avatar (control panel), then "account management".

Important note: you can only change your nickname once every 182 days. So I advise you to pay attention to this and think carefully before making any changes!

A change has been made to the rules of the suggestions section.

It has been decided to allow at least 4 days before adding a poll, to give you time to debate and, if necessary, modify the idea or even decide that it won't have a poll.

After that, only suggestions with 65% of votes in favor and at least 30 votes in total will be sent.

Quote from Feedback & Suggestions rules

The poll will be generated at least 4 days after the suggestion is made. This will allow for ample time to discuss/debate and make modifications to the original proposal. If you feel more time is needed, or would prefer not to have a vote, please specify on your topic.

Keep in mind, if there is no vote, the suggestion will not be able to be forwarded.

The poll will last for 30 days. When it is over, a moderator will access the poll responses and comments.

If there are 30+ votes, of which at least 65% are in favor, the suggestion will be forwarded.

This change takes effect today and for all polls created from now on (those already created are not affected).

There have been some minor changes to the forum:

1 / We've started archiving old posts and/or posts that were no longer current.

The sections affected by this archiving are:

- Help & questions

- General

- Bugs

- Fan art & competition.

To help you find the archives for each section, the link is now available in the descriptions. These descriptions will probably undergo some aesthetic changes in the future.

However, no link has yet been added to the Fan Art section description. You can view the archive of this section here: Fan Art & Competitions Archive

But you'll see that unfortunately most of the posts have lost their interest because the links are dead or the images have disappeared.

2 / Finally, a sentence has been added to the forum rules, as follows:

Quote from Board Guidelines

If a permanent ban is received, a second chance may be granted via the forum support at the discretion of the board administrators. This second chance can only be requested at least 6 months after the ban.

Granted second chances will come with a notice that further warnings will result in permanent ban with no future chances and potential in game account consequences depending on the offense.
