I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that, because of that hideous scoreboard, one could lose the motivation to compete. But besides that i fully agree with the sentiment of the player above. That highscore is a ugly mess, or if you prefer a messy ugliness.
C'mon, GF, it's almost 2024, can't your coders get a stylesheet right yet? If so, it would be time to "promote" them to customers and start a fresh batch of hiring. Or, at least, pay them with actual money instead of expired sauerkraut and stale beer, so they might find into themselves enough of a motivation to do some actual work.
Very weird indeed, why was it changed in the first place? It 's functioned properly, no need to change that. 
I was told the team were aware of the issues with spacing on the highscore and this will be fixed at some point in the near future.
