Lifeforms connection to Points

Just a curiosity question.

It seems that when the Lifeforms update came everybodys Economy and Ship points are increasing together with the Lifeforms upgrades they do. So it seems to be connected somehow?

Couldn’t find anything about that on the forum… or am i just mistaken?

and if so, does anybody know how lifeforms builings/research effects to Economy and Ship points?

Yeah on the stats site. The moment lifeforms came out suddenly everybodies economy points and military points started slowly creeping up. Even tho nothing was building it just goes up
