Hyperspace Drive takes unusually big amount of time to research. About 20x it took few days ago and about 20x of other technologies with similar cost. In addition, when you open Research tab on a Moon, it is the only research (that is not currently being upgraded) that is shown as if it is unlocked.

I noticed the exact same thing and have reported it via Support, I suggest you do the same and hopefully a fix will be applied soon. It happened right after the scheduled maintenance so was a system glitch for sure.
