[TOT: 3.684.902.000] SaintsnSinners vs. Nyllith & Rusty & threeflipskat3r (A: 3.240.000.000, D: 444.902.000)

  • Hey everyone, a little bit of context behind this. We're a happy crew of Mathilde players who all merged to Vega.

We decided pretty early to setup a locked system for some safety because of how fast MD is. After a few days, one of our players, Rusty, got involved in an incident for apparently some sat bashing.

We checked back, because that's not in the spirit of our group, fleeters hit for profit, but sat bashing for something you would get on an inactive is a big no no.

OGI had some bug with target list (before the update that destroyed everything anyway) and we suspect that Rusty targeted an inactive and got redirected to Sinners by mistake.

Now, after such a hit, you would think the appropriate reaction would be to send a quick message asking why hitting for such a small amount.

Apparently that's not how it works here and Sinner immediately relocated next to our safe system and threatened the whole ally, because yeah, why not when you have more fleet than all of our players combined.

We were at first worried about def bash, but Sinners was actually a very fair neighbour, probing our players and finding out about our schedules.

One night, he went for one of Rusty's moons. Not the the good one though, so he launched at the other one but called back when he saw we were all active.

Sinners had had his eyes on my "fleet" for some days, which is just an kind way to describe a big pinata because I'm not touching those dirty combat ships you fleet people all fart in because you can't hold in your excitement each time you hit that simulate button. Bad fleeters ! :flowers:

After the failed attempt at catching Rusty's fleet, he probed me more than usual, and I felt he would probably go for me that night.

Little did he know, I had a secret defense mechanism against his mischevious plans.

I may be at the apex of my existence, but my genetic lineage failed me at some point, and I spawned on server Earth with some sort of bladder dysfunction, which makes me wanna pee multiple times per night.

Of course, I will check my ogame account while getting rid of excess liquid mass, because I'm a proper nerd and true mining businessman, and noticed the flashing red triangle. 162 Rips, all by themselves.

I gave the info to my allymates, if anyone was interested in catching those beautiful masculine balls heading towards my face. Enthusiasm was met on Threeflip's end, and we nohomo'ed up a plan, which basically involded sleep deprivation and testectomy equipment.

I can only suspect Sinners noticed I was online, because I didn't even try to hide my presence, launching expos on all my planets, but he didn't seem to care much since he knew I couldn't defend on my own.

Set an alarm to make sure next day at work is extra tedious and keep Threeflip updated because we expected fancy fleet covering and mindgames.

This is actually what it looked like on Sinners' end.

Now you would think that was unfortunate, Threeflip made some nice profit and the story ends here, but Sinners, for some reason, decided to launch a second identical wave at the same moon after his Rips got blown up.

This time, Rusty was interested in exploring his manliness with me and we prepared for round 2. I went back to bed, and woke up to three hostile fleets instead of the lonely MD.

I was about to tell Rusty to cancel our plan, because, that's gotta be cover fleets right?

Lo and behold, Sinners shared with us an ancient moon destruction technique consisting of recycler-slowed probes on spy missions sandwiching very loosely his MD.

To add to our confusion, we wanted to set up recyclers, but no DF after the daily reset, so we knew he also had not sent recs and waited for impact because he couldn't possibly outpace in-system recycling. Sinners also wasn't online at impact.

We had a lot of fun overall, even if the stakes weren't that high, Sinners still has a monster fleet we can't possibly deal with, so we expect he will rebuild those quickly.
