Solo Top 03 - [TOT: 2.834.192.268.000] AGoodSydney [FREE] vs. Rocky [Live] (A: 364.487.875.000, D: 2.469.704.393.000)

  • Hello fellow Thubaneers,

I noticed that Rocky would sometimes leave a few billion worth of resources and ships on his moons after reset, and so have been checking in on him regularly.

Today, I was doing my usual checkups on him and, to my surprise, saw his full fleet sitting with a timer. I debated launching immediately, but decided instead to spend a bit of time simming. After 4 minutes of effort, I realized that my original plan of sending all CR/BC was correct after all. Whelp, that was a mistake, I thought as I kicked myself for not having gone instantly.

Thankfully, defender did not come on in the 10 minutes it took for my fleet to make contact with his moon. 2 minutes after that, the CR appeared, and Thuban had a new Top 1 Solo hit.

Defender went vmode right after the hit and I haven't heard from him; I wish him a fast rebuild or best of luck IRL depending on what he decides to do.

  • I kinda miss playing Thuban with those speeds, but seeing these numbers Im glad I didnt choose to go that route.
I remember my time in Thuban - I would have already simmed on roughly anyone I was probing, just in the off chance their fleet was there - that extra minute or two can be crucial.

Insane hit. Insane profit and insane fleets - well done!
Im a bit out of the loop, but how many of the big fleets are left at this point xD

    Old school gamer

  • always fun looking through these huge fleets to see where the 2t damage happened

"seems like kind of a small fleet"

    "oh, 11 millions reapers"

    "thatll do it"

Edit: that also explains why you wanted to sim it. was the right call imo.

  • never understood why people build fleet and then just keep it permanently fleetsaved. if you're not using the fleet, why pay duet every day.

congrats on taking the no1 spot sydney. huge profits.

  • Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

The thing is, I've not seen Rocky's full fleet until yesterday (I've only seen smaller chunks), and was surprised when I saw 2.4T fleet with 11M reapers. Had I known what he had, I would've presimmed as well.

congrats on taking the no1 spot sydney. huge profits.

it is not like that, Rocky was very active on Kerberos, and also on heavy attacks including moonshoots given and received ;)

after this fusion most of accounts were moved badly to this universe where p2w is in very high lvl and comparision between accounts in kerberos ( top one was around 3/4 bn ) and thuban is funny.

Most likly he will not return here and acc will be sold out as graveyard is not usable anymore

  • how many of the big fleets are left at this point xD

Apparently, one less with you clucking in Vega.

this universe where p2w is in very high lvl and comparision between accounts in kerberos ( top one was around 3/4 bn ) and thuban is funny.

Nonsense, you're really going to convince us that he couldn't make a single hit on anyone with 100m - 1bn fleet? or any hit at all, because the universes' top players are on the p2w model?

Congrats on the hit Sydney, enjoy the new shiny #1 spot.

GLiRL Defender or FR if you choose to.

Don't let the game play you, instead of that Vmode fleetsave and play the game whenever you want.

  • open your eyes, I am not saying that hit is bad/good - it is very nice and there is no matter if def is in top10 or top200. I am saying that people who choosed this uniwerse are doomed now, there is no sense of competition as of now.

Merges and servers to choose were badly assigned, for example accounts between 1-2years were merged with accounts 3-4years old. Thats the point.

More sense was to merge as many uniwerses as possible with simmiliar age with other countries = more fun then. As of now is more like slaughterhouse.

    What are you on about?

As of now is more like slaughterhouse.

Rubbish, basic rule of fleeting: If it sits, it gets hit. The fleeters dominating their respective universes (pre-merge) simply got lazy and this is the end result.

Also the attackers aren't indestructible, it's just that nobody is willing to give it a decent shot... So you're analysis is complete rubbish, whether it's P2W or not, this doesn't change the fact that people are forgetting the basic principle of fleeting, or did you want everything to be served on a platter?

Don't let the game play you, instead of that Vmode fleetsave and play the game whenever you want.
