    lower the requirements for impulse engine kit for recyclers a bit, isn't 17 a bit much? An alternative can be created to use this at least until we reach the hyperspace thruster. Increase required level to 12 to get impulse engine set for recyclers

  • I think it would be very good if the impulse driver decreased from 17 levels to 12. We can use level two speed research this way until we activate the hyperspace drive.

    I definitely agree.
    Fleet is roughly 3 times as fast as recyclers. Say your fleet reaches the enemy in 15-18 minutes, then your recyclers reach them in 40-50 minutes.
    Its very unbalanced and just as unbalanced that you have to spend almost 2 billion ressources and .... weeks? of research time, to get faster recyclers.
    There needs to be a stepping stone, and I dont mind this suggestion being the answer

  • Agreed. Realistically hyperspace drive 15 gets researched at pretty much the same time if not before impulse 17, so the impulse drive recs might as well not even exist. Lowering the requirement would actually make an incremental boost that feels more natural.

  • Just saw this and voted Yes ofc.. I think lvl17 imp compared to lvl15 hyper are ( I might be rough out of head calculation ) close and simmular so its totally unbalanced.. Even as non fleeter player i had struggles to either get to 17 or 15hyp and lost “some profits” due speed or even as he said they take roughly 3x more time, witch i had to stay “awake” for waiting for their return and worrying if someone will steal my profit.. So lowering it down is huge benefit in early “mid game” and helps alot.. lately there is also rise in using of Cruiser-pf fleets and especially sc s for expo hunts in lower speed unis where people can enjoy rl and play, so focusing on imp then hyper drive would be huge!!! Even if it is lvl15 not 12 it would help. So to make it short Big YES for this.
