1 UNI without ress packages a year

    Quite simple just give us 1 UNI without packages every year but keep every other DM feature to make it profitable for GF.Come up with good UNI settings and you'll probably make more money than in these UNIs where idiots drop 1k € in first 2 days and then nobody else buys DM cause UNI is pointless.Ceres,Delphinus and Eries are last 3 UNIs that opened and all 3 were/are terrible to play due to players buying dumb amount of ress to cover their lack of skill.

    If you dont want to do this then come up with some protection for the 99% of player who aint buying ress

    Balance Moon Destruction to be what it was when game came out(not something that you can just spam and hope to find fleet) and come up with updated "newbie" protection which would disable attacks on anyone with 100m points under attacker if target is under 100m points.

    Oh and for the love of GOD stop shitting out UNIs without inactive/empty systems lowering flight time/consuption because theres not enough players

    GF is aware of players' desire to have servers that are a little different, whether it's a server without DM or one with a restriction. Now we have to wait for them to do something (or not).

    We dont need poll because its obvious that 99% of players would agree on this because theres 0% chance that Gameforge would give us UNI with no DM at all so this would be perfect for both sides.

    Those so called "managers" that are running this game while knowing as much about it as I know about nuclear physics need to get their noses out of income spreadsheets and go learn real state of the game which is worst I've seen it in my 20 years of playing.17/20 members of our Ceres alliance has left the game for good after complete noob bought 250m points and started random MDing on everyone and their mothers.Eris #1 has over 1b points on day 9 so what do you all think how long will that server last?Game is going down no matter what their spreadsheets say and once we get to the point where theres not enough players who are not paying to cover their lack of skill even whales will see that its pointless to spend money on dead game and everything will go to hell.React now even if it means you'll lose couple thousand euros on UNI like this and you will bring back players who left and with this game being so addictive big chunk of them will keep playing for a while on new UNIs after no packages one is dead.BTW no suggestion about anything DM related makes me feel like we're in Soviet Russia so friendly advice to those guys who came up with something stupid like that,get off your high horse and accept the fact that OGAME would be in far better state both game wise and financially if it was run by experienced players instead of peoples with fancy diplomas who know nothing about how game works.I dont mean to insult anyone but if I did well you deserve it just for letting things from screenshot below happen.

    I think if you make the users pay monthly sub in which they get only commanders active for 30 days for about 15-20€, alot of people would actually play and find it fair and balanced. No other DM would be allowed, no relocations no nothing. I would also remove the size of planets on slots becuase its pointless in any economy over 8x...

    Nonsense or not they need to pay for everything. You dont know how much they earn or have expenses to judge. We just dont know.

    i would love that. but i think it could be an existential threat to the company.


    what if, slowly, all players started only playing there now?

    if you are alone with 3 other DM buyers in a universe, that would be no fun without being able to farm the 100+ normal players.

    all normal players move to the no DM uni. whales no longer have incentive to buy and the company goes bankrupt.


    how real is that threat?

    i don't think anyone could calculate that risk and for that reason, we will never see a uni without ress packages, unfortunately.

    box of pandora can not be closed. it's either all unis have DM or none.


    (i don't have a degree in game design or finance so i might be wrong, but that is what i think the reason is)

    Thing is that UNI still has DM and with no packages you would have way more peoples buying DM for expo/fleet slot boosters,krakens/newtrons/detroids,relocations etc etc

    Just like any other that UNI would die and players will move to normal ones its just that it would probably last couple months

    In the end its way better for game itself to have 100 players spend 50€ each than have 5 players spend 1k € each while profit wise its all same for the company.

    But yes generally i agree that we need some kind of a system for it, max amount packages or max amount spent per player or something like that.

    personally i would keep playing without paying, like i'm doing now.

    You have no idea how wrong you are,I know tons of peoples who spend ~50€ per UNI(myself included) on expo boosters,officers and insta finishing things but never bought a single package with DM.I'd bet you anything theres 100+ peoples on Eries who bought DM and look at the state of the UNI.When I said 100 peoples who'll buy 50€ I lowballed a lot because that number in UNI without packages will probably be lots higher cause they will feel better about spending on UNI where they know that random noob cant buy his way to the top and bully them till they quit.That UNI would also bring back lots of players who left due to package abuse so they hit whole "new" market with it.Only downside of this might be what Krabbe wrote above and thats players moving to this UNI and playing only this one but thats highly unlikely because mentality of peoples is that they dont want to rebuild lost fleets and even with no packages time of brainless MDs will come and everyone will start losing fleets and quitting.

Im not saying it'll never happen, but if they do make the decision, it will not be without being fully aware they are leaving money on the table to accommodate us, which is crazy to ask for.

    Right now you have like what? 3 to 4 players spending 1000€ euros in a uni that lasts 1 month max?


    In this uni you could have lots of players spending in micro transactions like 10€ every now and then but in a uni that woudl last much longer
