ogame.tools (multi-purpose ogame utilities)

  • Hello Everyone,

    logo-xmass-25.webp

I’m willing to share a project with you: ogame.tools.

This journey began during the downtime of OGotcha when I started developing a private terminal client. Its primary purpose was to generate forum BBCode for Hall of Fame (HoF) posts using an API key. As time passed, members of the French community began requesting BBCode for their HoFs through my tool. Responding to their feedback and needs, I decided to create a public converter inspired by OGotcha. Over time, it evolved with the community’s input, incorporating features like an ACS splitter, a return deployment calculator, and a position finder.

Let me introduce the core components of ogame.tools:

    1. Battle Converter

    • Originally based on OGotcha, it has been significantly improved with feedback from the French community.
    • Includes skins for default ogame.tools, OGotcha, and TopRaider (with deuterium calculations if supported by your universe).
    • Offers slightly more accurate profit calculations, especially in battles involving Reapers compared to OGotcha.
    • Features a Discord bot that already supports some functionality, with more features planned.

    2. Grouped Attack/Defend Profit Sharer

    • Designed to simplify sharing profits from ACS (Allied Combat System) attacks or defenses.
    • Simply select your side, enter all the battle report API keys and recycler report API keys, adjust any necessary settings, and the tool handles the rest.
    • Makes profit-sharing efficient and stress-free.

    3. Phalanx Return Deployment Calculator

    • Want to predict the return of a deployment mission visible in your Phalanx view like a pro?
    • Enter the basic details in the form, and the tool handles all calculations for you.
    • Perfect for organizing moon-break parties or timing precise intercepts.

    4. Position Finder

    • Looking to colonize or relocate planets but unsure where to go?
    • Quickly identify fillable or empty systems without the hassle of manually browsing the galaxy.
    • Provides instant insights into the number of planets and the strongest player in the selected system.

    Notes:

    1. Chrome Warning Notice:
If you’re accustomed to using https://simulator.ogame-tools.com, you might encounter a warning in Chrome when accessing ogame.tools. This happens because the URLs are similar. Rest assured, it is safe to ignore the warning and proceed to the website.
    2. Privacy Assurance:
The website does not use cookies or track any user data. For your convenience, it uses localStorage to save form preferences locally on your device. This data is stored entirely on your browser and never sent to any server, ensuring your privacy is fully respected while using the tool
    3. OGLight:
If you are using OGLight and want to utilize the Battle Converter, you can configure it directly in your OGLight settings for seamless integration.

Feel free to use it if you find any interest in one of the proposed tools. :borg:

mods, feel free to move if not the correct area

PS: Some tools where existent many years ago and disipaered meanwhile, they have been modernized to comply with the actual computer/mobile world and ogame updates

  • Great tool! Was gutted when it was down last few months

My bad for this, went away 3 months and during my AFK time, the server has moved from datacenter by the hosting company and for sure i forgot to enable the start of the frontend service when the server reboots resulting in a bad gateway error x). This has been solved now and rest assured there is no reason for it to go away as its hosted on servers used by tall of other projects.

  • iiNSick Hey, looks like it went down again. Can you give us any updates?

Its down because, i authorize all of you to say it, i am a f$cking retard (and i hope you remind it to me if you reply :airborne:). I smoke (w$$d) alot, doing 100 things at the same time (private/profesional), having pressure coming from all sides, and accidently, deleted the wrong github account and realised only a few hours later reading my personal emails that i didnt delete an unused github but my real account x). I hurted myself, tryed to recovered it, banging my head into the wall, wondering why i am still on earth as i had much more on it then just that website but unrecoverable . Tbh i did even take a few days off to attemp to recover the unrecoverable and went a bit crazy the next days.

Thats being said, i lost the source code (uncompiled) while there was still a compiled version running on the server which i could have left running while remaking it. The server started to go down more and more (end december/early january) due to a new CVE (CVE-2025-55182 - https://react2shell.com). and at the end i closed access

With some kind of depression for the huge lost, and the lack of motivition to restart quit a few projects from scratch, i wasn't really planning on first instance to remake the application, though, i have had quit a few request and slowly progressed again on something new, taking as starting point the very very very first version of the site which i enhance again

it wont be as complete as the final ogame.tools you might have known as last (missing combat simulator as that was a hell of work which is just lost, though it will prolly come back)

I will check at the end of the weekend to spawn a beta version and forward the request to the beta version in the background.

For the rest yea beside saying sorry i am dumb i can not say more, its all on me

    PS: you are a f$cking r$tard iinsick
