Hello, it is no longer possible to make donations and exchanges since V12 and the appearance of successes specific to each account. I imagine that the GF would like to find a solution to prevent successes from being exchanged easily and quickly thanks to donations and exchanges.
For the time being, we have no information on when the system will be up and running again.

Because it was disabled, after the update 12.0.0. It seems like they have a problem or they dont want it anymore. Lets see

Why would GF care about such a thing? Shouldn't their focus be on number of 'active' users? Would GF really like to see an old universe where 2 - 3 players are active while the rest of the players quit and couldn't gift their accounts to active users who are willing to spend?
Isn't this hurting their revenue or do they simply not think that far?

And don't forget that certain avatars or achievements require large accounts or dark matter. So it's more profitable for them if players “seek” to obtain these achievements, even if it means spending a few euros, rather than giving them away easily and free of charge via donations and account swaps.

that is mighty fine thinking from GF
it also means ppl like me who had some fun in new uni
now leave top30 account to rot in vmode (already top 80 with a week of vmode, in a month it`ll be useless)
instead of giving it away
and im sure im not the only one who wanted some temporary fun and now cant give account away
maybe, just maybe, make it so that you cannot add an account that has more
achievements done/points than the other account(s) in lobby
because if gifting is permanently disabled, we`ll only keep seeing the decline of active accounts
One simple yet viable option is enable gifting into empty lobby only
That will prevent sharing of achievements, but allow players to trade/give away acc

That is the most ridiculous things i've heard in a while, spenders will spend regardless if the universe is empty or not, maybe a bit more if the universe is active. How do you come up with things like this?

The feature will return at a later date, until it has been corrected. Don't be fooled into thinking that it will be impossible to exchange or give away an account ad vitam eternam.

It may be the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard, but it's a fact - too bad if you don't like it, it'll be the same thing.
GameForge opens new universes at regular intervals - every 42 days or so - to benefit from the hype of a new universe, which will generate a frantic race to the top of the ranking. Then, once that's done, the best players will continue to spend their money to an ever-bigger account, while the rest will move on to the next universe, and so on. If this model has worked for years, it's undoubtedly because GameForge finds it so profitable. I'm not saying it's a model I like and that it's “healthy” for gaming, I'm just saying that, thinking like a business, it's the best way to be profitable. And, once again, as long as the big whales keep pumping crazy amounts of money into the game, it won't change.

We don't have any information at the moment, but I think GameForge is working on a fix. It would be very strange not to be able to exchange or give accounts right now.

So when almost 2/3 of your income comes from the biggest payers, it makes sense to base your strategy on them.

GameForge doesn't want achievements to be obtained quickly and circulated between the various lobbies too easily to force players to unlock them. And so, ideally, GameForge wants them to play intensely, for a long time and spend money. That is, until they find a way to prevent achievements and avatars from being easily exchanged.

You do realize that the majority of the whales or the big spenders are sitting on their accounts only because it was 'gifted' to them. What are the probability for a whale to spend as much as they are spending today but on a new account? I'd say pretty low.
You can pull numbers from Google, but you also have to think of the actual reality. Also, I never disagreed that whales are the the majority percentage of GF's revenue, but on the other side the small transactions amounts to almost 40% based on your Google search. No organization with half a brain will start experimenting with 40% of their revenue stream.

Plus, my network within this game is pretty decent and everyone I spoke to had nothing positive to say about this update, they're just indifferent to it or hate it because of all the new bugs it introduced.Also, regardless of what the reward of the season universe is, whether it's skin, coupons, ,plush or a hand sanitizer, players will still compete, it's human nature.
