[TOT: 96.637.309.000] PAGAN [CHIMERA] vs. Captain Phasma [F O] (A: 2.488.885.000, D: 94.148.424.000) TP: {28.409.007.478}

  • Still PAGAN. Still standing. Still making money. And still not banned M'FRs.TM

To all the haters and trolls out there:

It sounds like it's GLIRL and not GLORD. It will be a shame if you do leave as FO is one of few alliances that caters to mentoring new players joining the uni. Hopefully, if you do retire, you will pass the account and/or alliance on to someone else to carry the torch. A few of your ally mates were in Dorado so it's nice to still see familiar names in the trenches.

EDIT: The good news is that after the other players hit you, they nudged those honor points just enough so that you're no longer a bandit. Silver linings...

Spy and fly but it was a foot race as I wasn't the only one who spotted fleet(s) down. I think in total 5 different players made a go at different moons.

I buy fuel in bulk amounts at competitive rates...all you have to do is reach out to me in-game or via our Discord on Donato 'Nam.

Dedicated to Seraph with a shoutout to all the others who made money this night.

  • GLIRL Phasma. Your friends fed you fake info. My friends ended your ogame career.

    ---

Not sure what info was meant to have been fed to me.

I ended my OGame career—your friends could never.

    ...

    Where do I start?

First, congratulations to Pagan for getting the main fleet and a smaller fleet. Very nice smash! Shame about the bandit status change, but still, decent profit.

Also, congrats to Disarrayed, AMOTION, Shryke, and GKP, who all hit me in some form and made some profit out of me.

    ...

I left VM after a hectic day at work to buy some deut from some alliance buddies, as I offer 3:2:1 rates so they don’t have to spend DM on merching it. I received two lots of deut and intended to complete both trades before the night, but time restraints meant I couldn’t.

When I left VM, I knew it would be the day I lost my fleet for good—and oddly, that was a nice thought. I didn’t *want* to lose my fleet, of course, but I knew I would, and I was okay with that. That’s when I realized I must be done with the game.

As it got later, a storm rolled in (literally), and I struggled to connect to the game. Pages were taking minutes to load, and I was falling asleep. That’s how it happened.

    ...

I’ve been playing OGame in Universe 1 on and off for years, with different accounts.

Over the years, I’ve been part of some great groups, but my favorite has been FO. I created FO when I returned to Universe 1 after a break, and it just worked. We took in new players, developed together, and made friends along the way—some just in-game and others real-life friendships too.

Of course, I’ve also enjoyed my time in other groups, but I can’t say as much about them right now.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time here in Universe 1 over the years. Many nights staying awake far too late for some reason or another, setting alarms for crazy times of the day—it’s been a journey.

So many memories have been made here with many of you over the years, and I thank you for that.

    ...

Unfortunately, I fell out of love with this game a while ago.

I tried forcing myself to play, and I did for a while, but eventually, I realized this game just wasn’t for me anymore. I spent longer and longer periods in VM, only leaving it when someone needed help.

When I’d leave VM, the nostalgia would pull me back in, and I’d play again for a bit—only to inevitably end up back in VM.

This time, when I came out, I knew I would lose my fleet, and that was okay. It was my excuse to finally be done. I could rebuild, but for what? Due to factors beyond my control, there’s simply no way for me to compete with the top players—just like 99% of other players.

    ...

So, that’s it from me. I’m unsure what to do with the account. I’ll elect a new leader for FO but will still run it, offering advice and pointers where I can—just like I was taught when I first learned this game.

    Thank you Pagan

    Thank you Uni1

  • Captain Phasma I still roam the halls now and then out pure intrigue, I was sorry to see this hit but what you wrote I understand, this game can become a burden to normal life if you let it.

I enjoyed our history in this game going back to days of you being in FGR with me, fond memories of us being underdogs fighting those more powerful than us back when the game was a little more fun.

I do not think you'll regret your decision, focus on what is important outside this game and I hope you succeed in every aspect.

There is in every one of us, even those who seem to be most moderate, a type of desire that is terrible, wild, and lawless.”

  • Stick to mining, turn your account essentially into a glorified spreadsheet.

Don't forget, he who outlasts wins. With 0 dimes out of your wallet.

There are several multi - trillion accounts in .tr which would dwarf uni 1 whales and they all rot in vmode. All these accounts and its respective players deserve the junk yard.

    Play your own game.

Glorious 1 is back in town. If the next couple sentences make sense to you, you are at risk.

At best, you will be baalized. At worst, your physical and mental well-being is at stake. You will likely forget what uninterrupted sleep is. Your immune system will steadily decline. Your will to fight will be broken. You will regret having invested so much into nothing.

well said, and i think those of us who have left the game after a large hit had the same feeling.

i hope IRL treats you as well as Ogame did, end of a chapter of your life. onto big and better things :))

GLIRL, glad you were there for my beginning, and im happy to see you going out in a blaze of glory.

Mother nature is the natural beginning and end to everything. violent and unpredictable, similar to Ogame in a way. sad to see an unavoidable situation be the end, but the end nonetheless.
    o7 cap!

  • Nice profit, congrats on winning the race Pagan.

Phasma, you and FO have been a positive force in the Ogame community, which is a greater accomplishment than making some large numbers appear on a CR report.

GLIRL and I do hope you stick around, even if just on the sidelines.

  • Good to see that you are still Pagan, still standing, still making money and still not banned, congratulations on the profit :dead:

I don't know you since we never had a chat but seems like you have done great community for this service so it's a shame to see such a person leaving :flowers: . Wish you well if you really decide to quit  (you gonna find out how much time there is in a day when you don't need to pull res and FS :ninja::fatgreengrin:)

  • PAGAN ruining other peoples experiences - not surprised.

Enjoy the freedom Phasma. Its tough to see the numbers but the sense its over is a relief sometimes. Don't be a stranger to the boards, its more enjoyable here anyway.
