Hello, fellow players
I've played videogames since I was a kid. I've played many games, for PC, consoles, movile, etc. And I've also played many games that include battles.
I really like OGame, but I'm getting bored of having battles with the same players (where stronger players always beat the hell out of me, and where I beat players with lower levels than me).
I really think that OGame should imitate (to some extent) the mechanincs of the videogame Helldivers, and create a LifeForm, controlled by an AI, that could also try to colonize galaxies, grow and attack players (I think that this AI LifeForm should have planets with low levels of streght, other planets with medium levels of strenght, and planets with high levels of strenghts, so any kind of player can have battles against this AI LifeForm).
I really believe that having this "common enemy" could improve the fun and the engagement of the game, since instead of attacking the same players over and over again, anyone could be having battles against the different levels of planets of this AI LifeForm to get higher and higher prices/rewards/resources.
In detail, this would imply: Creating a "player" (which would be an AI) on a distant galaxy. This AI should have 3 instructions:(1) colonize new planets, (2) grow slowly but steady, and (3) attack players that are near. This AI "player" should have the instructions to have strong planets (a lot of resources but with a lot of deffenses), medium-level planets (interesting amount of resources, with fair amount of deffenses), and low-level planets (low resources, with little amount of deffenses).
What do you guys think?
