I hope threeflipskat3r & others can understand the importance of this and give it their support for the health of the uni.
I wont be a stick in the mud, if its what my friends/allies want then Ill vote along those lines as I see pros/cons to both settings. That is so long as its not tied to anything dumb like fleet speed increase

I still stand by the people who buy points aren't going to gain much other than saving a few dollars but the people who play just to play and fleet on occasion benefit the most from the greater growth potential.
If you want new life in the uni also include peaceful speed in the vote, will give you extra targets for sure

Maybe also look at options that benefit other playstyles too, like a higher peaceful fleet speed for example. Miners/discoverers don't care about DF % which is why these votes usually fail in other uni's too.
Sorry, but that is not entirely true. I am a miner who hardly even raids inactives (except in Volans uni), but I will always vote for things that benefit fleeters, if it seems the right choice for the uni. Without fleeters, there would be no OGame, so to block every move that benefits them would drive them all away, and then we'd be left with nothing but miners.

So in fairness of transparancy to the miners or people who don't know, upping the DF to 50% from 30% will reduce the amount your space dock holds.
So the guy who crashes u gets more profit from the debris field but u get less % of ships to claim from the space dock.
Unless ofc GF decide to not change WF and just increase the DF %

the number of required cargo's a miner needs has already been reduced in half, give or take what their lifeforms researches are, pure miners its way more than that.

Lmao what? Im discoverer and i see nothing to be changed for that playstyle. If discoveries speed gets buffed in uni1 then the class will be more overpowered then it is now. If we compare collector at 1bil points, fleeter at 1bil points and discoverer at 1bil points, discoverer will either stomp them entirely in a days profit depending on how well fleeter finds his targets. Overall in the long term discoverer is overpowered. There might be a cap on how good the class is up to certian point in time but im sure if you are f2p you are doing better then other 2 classes.
The exact argument can be said about changing DF, why don't you move to other unis with those? The reply will (probably) be the same as for those wanting another fleet speed.

No it is not the same. Speed of universe is major factor for many people i know and i think many would agree this is true. For DF no one really cares, fleeters will fleet same amount as they do now whether DF be 30-40-50%, and DF change basically doesn't change the player experiance at all in this uni, it just makes feeders more profitable to fleeters. Putting universe speed and DF on same pedestal is totally wrong. Im sure you understand that aswell.

pretty sure last time it was just df increase that got majority of the vote.
All for 50% df. You'll have my support again. Though if you can twist some arms into 10x eco, I would not complain lol.

yes this will impact the WF. Thus reducing it from attacking fleets.
Defenders wont be impacted.
