2024 End of the Year Awards

Maybe i am not around actively but i like the drama in uni and around it,i will give some of my opinions, nothing personal guys.

Best All-Around Player: King Rabbit/Lord42

Best/most Productive Fleeter:

Rya

Best/most Productive Miner:

Melos, simply because i didn't see him spend too much dm to up his eco.

Best Inactive Farmer:Seraph

Most Missed Player:Ice

Best Newcomer:Not sure about that,not many that i know, should i say KoK,even tho he merged in uni1.

Small hit but very profitable.

Most Improved Fleetsaver: Amotion( that expo fleetsave puts you at top).

Nicest Player: nischu

Smartest Player:Pagan, everything put into finest detail.

Most Dependable Player:Pagan, depending only on him,others in ally aren't that much fleet strong to protect in case he needs it.

Most Controversial Player:GKP/Rya

Both big egos, deserved first spot.

Small but effective: I like how some smaller players show their skills in uni,like racer and skullbones.Nice job.

As someone whos at uni1 last 8 months,my 5 cents observing and looking at some players,few spots I may pick only one person since theres some decent players for every position,even some low ranked show great skill and effort.

Best Inactive Farmer: pirate andy

Most Missed Player: Captain Phasma

Best Solo Hit: recent Lord42 hit vs Santana

Best ACS/Team effort: Muppets/Assassins still rule as teams.

Most Persistent Rebuilder: amream

Best Alliance Growth: AIM

Most Improved Fleetsaver: not sure

Nicest Player: pirate andy/KoK

Smartest Player: theres few out there. PAGAN seems smart keeping fleet from big allies, Axodos(smart disco setup and big expo MSU)

Most Dependable Player: PAGAN

Most Controversial Player: IPM

Edit time is up,but would like to add some persistent fleeter/farmers who due to all odds continue to farm and being in action on daily basis: AMOTION and Weird Al(when out of blue) WhyIsRumGone,TC and GKP

I'm actually having trouble filling out some of these.

Best/most Productive Fleeter:

It has to be between Rya and Rabbit, I'll go with Rabbit because he has the best AI pictures on the boards

Best/most Productive Miner:

This one is difficult to say, especially with all the packing going on.

But I'll go with Blackbread, simply because I enjoy his way of playing, master of research.

Best Inactive Farmer:

I honestly have no clue, since I switched from disco I have not kept track of any inactives or who farms them

Most Missed Player:

Let's go with Jex, I enjoyed him cracking small turtles with his reapers.

Best Newcomer:

No sure honestly, I'll go with one of the newcomer fleeters that does some work, disco/miner and farming inactives is easy and more profitable, but hunting active players takes more skill

Best Hit of 2024:

Even though it hurt a bit, I have to go with the hit on Coffy for the sheer numbers.

Best Solo Hit:

Pick one from Muppets on Assassins,

With a shout out to Lord vs Santana for sheer size, but I'm taking away some points from it being on a retired Santana.

Best ACS/Team effort:

Muppets on Coffy, not many ACS hits this year.

Big shout out to all ACS ninja's , no matter the size they required more coordination than the majority of the top 10 spy and flys.

Most Persistent Rebuilder:

Keeping the title from last year, Isaac

Best Alliance Growth:

Most Improved Fleetsaver:

I'll go with Saga, even though she did get hit this year, only getting hit once is a clear improvement from last year.
Let's hope for no crashes next year!

Would have to go with Rya, hes shown how diverse he can be with 2 different accounts now

Best/most Productive Fleeter:

Has to be Rya in my mind. Hes everywhere, always probing, sharing and hitting himself.

Plenty of dependable players, but that would most of my alliance as thats what im used to playing with.

Nicest Player: The Gman and the Rabbit.

Smartest Player: KS-Testudo and Astral Codex.

Most Dependable Player: Seraph. He runs at 100%, 24/7.

Most Controversial Player: Probably Cimbi. I quite liked him until he said he was voting 30%.

The real heroes of this game are people like this particular person who has to work double graveyard shifts at a Walmart warehouse unloading pallet boxes of diet coke to fund his gaming addiction.

I recognize their devotion, sacrifice over the course of 2024 and salute the true heroes who keep pouring thousands at an excel spreadsheet.

I have hardly played at all this year. neither have I paid much attention to the boards, so it's difficult filling out the individual categories.

certain hits did come to my attention - most of them from Rya and King Rabbit. and of course this last big hit from L42 has provoked a lot of interesting comments, but as to which hit is the best ... I can't really say.

Most active players - mostly miners. There's a fair number of them, silently playing and not drawing attention to themselves like fleeters do. Where would the game be without these players ?

Most active prober - for me that's good old patrick.

Most persitent rebuilder - Asimov

Player most missed - nobody really, because there is a core of everlasting ogamers. They come, they go. but they are never fully gone. They all come back sooner or later.

Anyway, my health has been pretty fragile this year, but I'm still here (just about). will try to make a bit more effort in 2025

Best Newcomer: this is difficult but i can think of four names that come to mind. Shryke, Devitt, Cicada, kingsize

Best Hit of 2024: seems like we have a good one happen about once a month, hard to pick one

Best Solo Hit: too many good ones between the top fleeters of this uni. there are a lot of hits that we never see on the boards

Best ACS/Team effort: muppets vs amotion, solid attempt, but amotion slipped away like a greased pig

Most Persistent Rebuilder: moloch comes to mind

Best Alliance Growth: guild because of a 20bn ship points error in our favor (thanks mmorpg)

Most Improved Fleetsaver: sagacious

Nicest Player: sagacious, she takes the time to be nice to everyone, even if they dont deserve it and try to slander her name

Smartest Player: KS-testudo, from chemistry and math, other games we share a love for, to mining and lifeforms. you can always expect an informed and sound take from him

Most Dependable Player: pagan, not only can his team depend on this rock, but he has been there for other players time and time again.

Most Controversial Player: kevlard, you have trolled your way to the top of this category. so congratz on being the best of the worst

I personally enjoy these at the end of every year, so decided to give my 2 cents. Here’s to making more memories in 2025 ^^

Best All-Around Player: This is tough tie between Rya and Rabbit. Both have absolutely torn up the CR section this past year and have solid accounts.

Best/most Productive Fleeter: again, I’m saying a tie ^. But I’d also like to give mention to nightmad who I’ve seen on top of the stat sites actively crashing for months.

Best/most Productive Miner: L42’s eco is just stupid.

Best Inactive Farmer: where is our great Soong, lord and owner of all inactive accounts? Special shoutout to Big Boss, he’s been tearing it up on inactives and farming.

Most Missed Player: I sure personally miss Ocelot44, esio trot, and Zorro09 (Learner Driver).

Best Newcomer: Spaceballs or Kingsize perhaps, both were keeping the CR section active at one point.

Best ACS/Team effort: Rya and Rabbit vs Coffy. Overall damage was just absurd.

Most Persistent Rebuilder: man do I also miss Jay…… lol. Would have to say Baloons. Dude gets hit (or used to) every month at least. But always comes back. Enjoying this little back and forth between him and Amotion atm..

Best Alliance Growth: GUILD - I blinked and they went from Chimera’s wing to a staggering amount of solid members.

Most Improved Fleetsaver: it’s gotta be Sagacious . Proud of you ❤️

Nicest Player: I don’t get contacted often by him, but every single time I have been, Blackbread has been the nicest guy.

Smartest Player: book smarts - Jex Roselin. Street smarts - Armand S

Most Dependable Player: johocknut, the daddy I don’t deserve.
