lifeform ship boost

  • hi all!

I have some questions for active fleeters:

    - is it worth it to boost fodder (lf & hf)? lots of peeps are going for cruiser/batlecruiser combo of researches and Im wondering if in case of an battle would boosted fodder make any difference against heavily boosted cruiser/battlecruiser combo anyway. FYI Im only keeping my fodder ships as fodder.

-whats your opinion on tier 1 deut saving tech vs. deut boost research? I like the idea of "fly for cheap", but can be similar effect achieved thru individual ship speed boosting and then slowing them down with rip? plus deut bonus is sweet on position 15..

    thanks folks!

  • Ships - idk...personally i don't know where i would use LF/HFs unless im trying to ninja someone :D. But then again people today attack with overkill of BC so even then i can't use it xD...i think if you are not top 10 fleeter and is just starting it's a pointless tech. Maybe it works in new universe but i can't be sure about that since i don't play new universes :D

Deut reduction is better then deut production if you are playing fleeter but i think it can go up to 90% maximum so i don't know how server settings affect this. Which universe do you play? Someone else might help you out with this if they know which universe you play.

  • so, you do not invest in fodder at all? I always thought it's good to keep a fodder - like 5:1 ratio to main ships in case someone outsmarts you, just to have another obstacle for the enemy fleet.

I play on SK Hydra - eco 8/16, speeds: 2/2/2.

  • Check mmorpg site for your universe and follow who does most raiding/dmg and then find few of their hofs and you'll know how far you are from "succesfully" defending if that person attacks you. And just remember that if person is 10x stronger then you he will just send overkill just in case so again, fodder or no you aint gonna make any profits :D. I am not playing x2 speed so my opinion might not be relevant since there might be diffferent stuff going on there and "slow" ships which i would never use in uni1 might be used so as i said...don't take my opinion too serious. I might recommend contacting some top fleeter and asking them tbh. Unless they are total re***ds they might give you a proper tip.
