Astrophysics price cap

  • As every one knows astrophysics as players reach x amount of planets many players reach a stale mate point where the next astro is to much to haul around or acquire.

    Even for some pay for play members of a game server who spend a little and the others who spend alot.

    We all have to balance out how we approach the task of more planets and how to keep the resources out of raiding hands and fleets.

    So My suggestion is to cap the price of astrophysics at planet 14's last levels cost plus a small modifier


    So while level 27 astro costs :

    • 8Bn metal
    • 16Bn crystal
    • 8Bn deuterium
    • 12 bn metal after cap
    • 19 bn crystal after cap
    • :12 bn deuterium after cap

    For every level after planet 15 is reached.

    Players will have the hard cap to strive for and players can expand a bit further and grow that much more.

  • Turkish players dont like this (in a month there will be no free planet position at universe).

    Maybe but it wont be that bad over all .

    The price cap can even be set at

    20bn metal

    24 bn crystal

    20bn deuterium.


    But the price cap As I suggested above will give every one a chance at a higher planet count and a better chance at reaching some of the achievements and requirements

  • Alternative:


    Instead of having a 1.75x increase per level, after a certain level (level 28 say) by lower amounts (subject to change based on community response)


    29-38: 1.65

    39-48: 1.55

    49-58: 1.45


    This means there can still be an increase but the amount is less and is more in line with the diminishing returns that each planet provides.

  • Add tier 4 LF tech that reduces cost & research duration.

    Now with Lf they all have resource buffs one could drop a single resource buff and replace with a Lf research that reduces the cost and research time buy 0.27 percent per level.

    If the reduction was to go that route.

    Maybe if a shrinking cost to level reduction was to happen.

    It should at least be a bit more rewarding after all the hard work to get there.

    using your example. maybe more along these numbers

    29-38 1.45

    39-48 1.35

    49-58 1.15

    59-68 0.90

    I think this is a good idea.

    I agree Astro is very expensive.....but the worst part of astro i think is not the cost but the time.

    I think that some LF techs are not usefull so we could think some kind of rework on LF techs which include also astro bonuses...
