Before I mention you about the hit I'd like to state that I've missed this account so much. Special thanks to my brother King Rabbit for taking perfect care of this and building the stuff up according to our 'Muppets account building manual'. Looking forward for you to return on active play but until then, I will try to be relevant every once and then like this. 
Today was dull, a couple targets unvmoded so I was watching closely for mistakes but they were around and then vmoded back... Just then it started to get exciting -finally in u1 up until today-.
Our alliance chat buzzed with our Kitler saying Golem got hit. Golem seemed to have a few thousand rips according to mmorpg. 11b metal + 10b crystal were floating in DF. We thought about what to do and since did not know about the actual hit time we decided to do two things;
1) Message defender and ask about hit time and fleet info to try to return if we still had time
2) Watch DF closely as I was definite that KoK would have sent the recyclers on 100% speed and as one batch
I then probed his random moon on another galaxy and made it look like I probin the system so he did not have time to react and make things messier, he did not suspect at all...
I started running his BC solo, BC + SC, BC + pathfinder and recycler times as these were jumped to G7 moon apparently (considering I came across the remainin on G9 twin's).
Unfortunately defender replied a little bit late, between my calculations our Kitler's beautiful and powerful cat eyes caught the DF's disappearance.
We decided to go a few waves to dry KoK off and maybe showing off a little? Just for funzies, we decided to lock with all 3 fleeters (4th was locked in vmode, lol)
I was right and DF disappeared in one wave, I was right and KoK was confident enough to send the fleet & recyclers in one wave with 100% speed (that's very courageous man, not very smart but also courageous I must admit 
)
Some launch and slowdown tactics were used and up until it was inevitable and too late to defend, KoK might have thought he got away with it, should be really unfortunate to see the waves were slowed down slowly to +0-2-4 or +1-3-5? seconds (he can verify if he'd like but I trust to Kitty's eyes and my math).
I believe KoK will share the hit he made but defender replied to me with CR's and he seemed to have made 6.5b profits and losing a bunch of BC's against rip's (thanks to 30% DF).
I said he seemed because his 21b DF is denied and he lost 18b recyclers which he collected 4.8b DF of his own and maybe a rough 5.2b returns from spacedock.
All in all, while it seemed like KoK made a pyrrhic victory with 6.5b profits he made a 23.5-24 billion losses according to my calculations.
If someone wonders about deuterium costs, we almost fully recovered launch costs with the DF stolen.
I don't know if KoK is happy but he is lucky defender did not overview and reply to me within minutes else he'd lose another valuable 3m BC instead of just profit of the hit + 1m recyclers. 
KoK, not a biggie for you, glotr.
Golem, you seem like a nice guy, thanks for reacting even if it did not add anything but you were cooperating.
