[Galactic War Log – Commander’s Entry]

Date: Cycle 17, Solar Phase IX

Location: Imperial Command Breizh Punish3R, CERESSector

    Subject: Operation Blood Debt

    Transmission Start

For days, our outer colony on G5 suffered brutal assaults. Adi—renegade warlord of the FUN Team—descended upon us with ruthless precision. He annihilated our orbital satellites, shredded crawler formations, and slaughtered innocent civilians—women, children, non-combatants. It was more than war—it was a massacre.

I received fragmented distress calls from the Great Commander stationed there. His last words were a whisper through static: "We held as long as we could…"

    I swore vengeance.

Within the hour, I activated Protocol Nightfall. Our most devastating warships—DEATHSTARS—were mobilized. Their mission: simple. Retribution.

We targeted his moons. Four celestial bodies shattered in the cold silence of space, fragments scattering like ash in a solar storm. Let it be known—striking the Empire would be the last mistake he ever made.

4 of his Moons were destroyed with succès !

    But I wasn’t finished.

24 hours later, long-range scans revealed movement—his fleet had re-emerged on a surviving moon, cloaked under a false sense of security, marked by a faint timer. I had no deuterium reserves there—my fleet was on standby, but fuel was low. He thought we wouldn’t reach him in time.

    He was wrong.

I dispatched a detachment of rapid cargo freighters loaded with deuterium—every drop we could spare. It was a race against time.

The moment they arrived, I launched. Battlecruisers, primed and silent, leapt through hyperspace.

    They found him.

    They engaged.

They eradicated his fleet in a blaze of vengeance.

Operation Blood Debt is complete. Let all who dare threaten the Empire remember: We do not forgive. We do not forget. We retaliate.

To all my Team, friend and support ;) :borg:

  • Because of satellites, he sees his fleet torn to pieces...

I already know, Fred Raket will be sad.

I can't wait what he'll say this time

    Good Job Brezih.

  • should have followed Fred Raket advise and scrapped his fleet, losing a couple billion here and there for Jleo but staying off the radar :P.

  • Congratulations to you Breizh. Well spotted!

I'm always a bit sad when friends lose the points they worked so hard for. Especially when it's mistakes that could have been avoided. It happening to whom I consider to be our best player isn't helpful either no. But it wasn't unexpected. He had been poking the bear so to speak. Maybe he'll tell you the reason of why it happened, maybe he won't. Don't know if he even has an account on here.

But there's a difference between sadness and perceived ugliness. If you had blown up his moons and then found his fleet, I would have been less sad and more disgusted. He was taking risks after all and made profitable hits on you guys.

Lastly, if you look at Adi's military score history, you'll notice that he did scrap a good number of ships a couple of days prior. It could have been much worse.

  • Satelites = fleet points... yes, a good fleeter player.

He destroy on me, 6K satelites and some cargos...2 attacks with a expo profit ? Now, with this satelites profit, and Breizh satelites profit, he can make the same ships.

the difference is we’ve been hitting ADI multiple times here and there, some times while he was online. But while we targeted fleets on moons loaded with resources, ADI focused on daily production and bashing satellites for barely any profit. Attacking moons requires skill, whereas farming planets using a phalanx just to bash satellites is relatively straightforward.

We could have gone scorched earth on him, and start bashing every one of his planets 6 times a day, but what is the fun in that?

We saw others building fleets when Fub was building his. We also know that lately Adi and others have scrapped portions of theirs

I've seen examples where you guys have shown skill. No doubt about that. But this wasn't really one of those. ADI messed up his fleetsaves and paid the price. If not for the deut story (which I liked), this for Breizh would have been like farming an inactive.

On the choice of targets. The power gap is so big that there is no way in which we can take down your fleets. So we're always confined to hitting either cargo fleets or stuff left unsaved on planets. And yes, sometimes the shoe is on the other foot and poor play on your side is punished. Should it be any other way? Would you expect any different from people who you've harassed for months? To declare yourself immune to that seems arrogant to me but also takes away part of the fun. A (The?) right level of fear and paranoia is and should be part of every ogame experience.

Not that you don't have Any. Or at least, that's how it seems to me. I think that all this outward posing is because you guys are afraid of losing your crawlers. It would interfere with your mining operations (and in some cases your dm'ing). Not in the absolute of course but it would be.. inconvenient.

Scrapping is a balancing act but also more efficient if you do it with bigger numbers. I wouldn't read too much into it.
