All Exodus unis are served to the table in target unis, not even as an appetizer... just salt and pepper stash...

adding on that: Is the target / exodus decision set in stone?
It's kinda a strange merge for thuban
Wurren is x1 speed
Xuange is x5 speed, but their biggest player wouldn't be top 20 in Thuban, rank 3 wouldn't even be top 100 anymore
Yin is x1 again
Zodiac is x3 but lacerta and vega are way closer with x2
aries is x2 and has lacerta and vega
bharani is x1
in the second group it's hard to make a reason for thuban with fafnir becoming x10 and being way closer points wise to most servers
undae is x1
ceres is x4 but with fafnir...
delphinus is x2
eris is x6 - which looks great first, then you remember fafnir and the difference in points
really hard to grasp why lacerta and vega are both kept alive, especially considering that these two are rather late game universes, which would probably profit from merges the most
In general its hard to see what user flows are anticipated that favor every target similiary, mind sharing your thoughts on this Neotinea (or whoever decided, you posted so, I chose you)

I am sorry but this target and exodus plans are garbage at best.
I know it will not change because community is neven listened or consulted before org community makes the worst merge choices ever but doing what I explain below could be beneficial for some;
Change settings of some target universe's to make them livable and more balanced? U1 is nowhere to be balanced with x8 economy and x1 fleetspeed but also 30% lowest DF which no universe has anymore and no doot into DF, 1.0 (max) doot consumption.
We see on many other communities where some crappy universe settings were automatically fixed to make it more balanced and offer something to players who are able to choose them as well.
Yin is an x10 economy universe, right? So we had two x10 economy universes, now only Thuban will stay so which is x5 fleetspeed and sole x10 economy. Now Yin players are offered to choose either drop their economy gain to stay on same speed or thrown into x5 fleetspeed which they never meant to play at?
I at least offer this; increase economy speed to x10 for universe 1, DF to 50% and turn doot into DF so it's actually a potential target and livable universe for both miners and fleeters. Because you made Fafnir x10 whilst it already has 60% DF and doot into DF on.
Please hear this and fix some universe's settings before its too late and that they will never be able to vote it up. I know you did it for Fafnir so it could be done for u1 as well.

These options are completely out of touch.
Why not pick newer unis as targets, so we have more roughly balanced player bases merging into each other? All the targets are so well established that moving into them would just be stupid.
I personally only have 1 real choice, and id have to vmode/delete the account on the uni... I need more options, I'm sure more people agree.

Im curious to see what players prefer if they are playing on 4-1-1 / 8-1-1 / 4-2-2 universes. I have a friend in wurren but he won't go uni1, he will rather choose higher peaceful fleet setting and risk with 2x war fleets. I think many might do the same.

I've been thinking about "why everyone wants higher DF?", i also thought it would be good but then i realized it could actually have a negative impact on fleeters. I think uni1 needs to stay 30% but just add deut into DF... im saying this because lower DF% means higher space dock % so in reality you might get less profit short term but people would still be rebuilding constantly so you can keep doing hits. We get almost 40% fleet back in uni1 which is great incentive to rebuild your account even if someone does crash you. I can't speak for fleeters but i think you all would rather have a chance to hit someone 10 times instead of 1 time after which they quit. Few fleeters i knew in speed unis with high DF just straight perma VM after they get crushed, rebuilding just takes too long for them to bother.

It is a long-standing tradition of this community to have merge options as nonsensical, disfunctional and infuriating as they can possibly be, and even this time they did not fail to deliver.
I would suggest to whoever is responsible to such an abomination to start a new honorable career as a manure hauler at the nearest stables.

But can I ask what was smoked during this discussion? After weighing up my options I have decided it is time for the people of Tettie land to go quietly into the night. Why move to any target uni where any level of fun will have been so far removed that it’s pointless. It’s a way to alienate your player base.
Why not make some of the exodus unis target unis and bring together players of similar level. As opposed to those whack job suggestions.

As people said, this merger is complete BS, forcing players on smaller unis to merge into the old unis where they stand no chance. A more interesting merger would have been for example U1, Vega and Lacerta, leaving two slots open for the smaller servers as target and an U1 update to x2 fleet at least. But in the current set-up is so obvious that 90% of the players will land on Lacerta and Thunban, making U1 and Vega pointless in the merger...

Last year uni need at least one option to merge to equal last year uni. ALL current option are v-mode/delete acc especially for group 1

Can i get my 200 euro back i just spend on DM in Wurren? These server merges are a effing joke. uni 1 is slow AF, and all the others are double the warfleet not a single person playing on a 4/1/1 server is asking for....
You cant even take a sh*t on those servers and everything is gone.

Looking at groups, you are basically abandoning 2? 3? unis with "no merge" - concluding unis specs/state of mind.
Group1 - mix & match all old unis together
Group 2 - Fafnir for smaller/younger unis

Classic org bs i should say.Vega is dead for 2 years already and this merge wont help at all,what was needed is to merge Vega with Lacerta to make more active both unis, otherwise i don't see how this is helpful at all for any of them.
Smaller unis are basically sacrificed for sake of the merge, non sense to merge so small accounts for example Thuban where they will probably end up in vm most of the time and quit.Target unis aren't getting anything better and we are all going via unwanted scenario of global merge or all of us ending in uni1.
Prongs can you explain yourself a bit, because this isn't the first time org has totally wrong merge under you.We all can remember Quantum that was killed without any reason.

Rant over.You can still have fun thing is not to have made any enemies that are on the higher end of the food chain in the target uni's
Half the active players On lacerta came from Gaspra which is not much older/younger than some of the current exodus uni's
And many of the new to Lacerta players when the last merge happened are fine and growing.
Uni 1's settings on fleet speed won't change flag ship server some settings there have and will again. I am sure of that.
Trick is not to take baggage with you into the target uni. because some of that baggage might be big enough to devour you no matter where you go.

Well, I agree with you on this one…
There are a few problems with the merge.
The first is that if you already have an account in Uni1, you’re forced to move to 2x or 5x.
If I want to keep my economy at 10x, I have no choice but to play at 5x fleet speed, which I really don’t enjoy and don't want to play!!
It makes me wonder: is there even any point in starting new universes?
Because sooner or later, you end up back in this same frustrating situation — stuck with speed settings you don’t want and no option to stay at 1x.I understand that things can’t always be fair for everyone, but this isn’t the first time something like this has happened… the same happened when we had to leave Virgo...
Can't believe that there is no one with a bit of common sense in GF....
