Merge 2025 - ORG community

As a vega player i am happy a merge is happening. Hopefully we can change server settings for Deut in debri aswell when the merge has happend. there is a lot of players that want it. I can see many people feel disappointed in the choices offered, i would probably be disappointed aswell if i had to move to servers that had unfaverable settings or players 100x your size.

People making comments about all their moons being blown up, in theory yes, this is very possible, even in the same night. In practice this takes a lot of planning and coordination and i have only seen it happen once and that was on me in this server and its been over 2 years ago. Its very demanding and not so easly done. If you fleetsave propperly you should have little to fear from anyone.

The game has felt very stale the last few months and i am happy anything is happening right now.

Any new player will adapt to their new situation as they did previously.

I do feel perhaps its better to make all unis exodus unis and create 4 or 5 complete new servers with settings people want the most. This way people who are stuck in target unies get to choose aswell

Bit contradictory no? From paid GF employees to volunteer staff (which, bless your hearts you guys put up with some shit)

Is there any communication? Are you lot too busy taking the piss at the player base to even get your stories straight?

Yin was x10 but will be exodus. So no, there were 2 x10 and there will still be 2 x10

I got that part. Please help me understand how it's been conveyed that since the '23 merge, only 1 10x eco uni per domain is possible.

Is your post still not suggesting there will be more than 1 10x eco uni?

I guess still using Pentium 4 and ddr2 server memory for this game...good Lord...How private servers handle 99x eco...?

Please use all 33 at once when you are out of vmode, will take your fleeting to the next level

I don’t see what the big deal is.. if you guys want the target unis to be based on specs, yes ofcourse great idea… but why just give players in target unis the chance to exodus themselves.. what if someone in uni1 could have the opportunity to go to a 10x eco and 5x fleet speed because life has changed and they have more time to play and fleet actively.. visa versa… what if someone in Thuban wants to go to uni 1 or Vega due to changes in their lives but still be able to play etc.. I think the problem isn’t with the servers that are being merged and targets/ exodus from what I gather reading the comments and other conversations is that people are just upset they are stuck and can’t move if they want to yohdh

The plan for merges will not be changed, sorry for that.

An optimal merge would be a lot of universes to Exodus and a brand new set of universes with a wide variety of specs, so anyone could have the opportunity to choose a new home for their accounts.

Of course it still has the question of high ranked accounts and on the lottery of everyone choice could create a gap even worst, because there's no possibility to create a limit in terms of points, but as already told was not accepted.

We don't know what the future holds, if it will be possible to change how global merges work or if Gameforge could bring some kind of solution that you could exit from your current universe to another, as was already discussed in the past, will poke some dudes to know if it's a dead end or not (maybe I'm dreaming and will beat with my head in the side table)...

However, I strongly suggest you, by xmas time or a little bit earlier to start to create a new post and give your suggestions for an ideal scenario of Merges, I'm sure it will be highly appreciated and it could be interesting to gather some ideas so we can ask for them, and maybe they could be accepted.

afaik any issues with the gy moves that was can be addressed in order to permit those stuck or those forced to move into unis they dont want or no longer wish to play

the only target or only exodus rule in script imo will be harder to change then re-instatement of already working gy script. altho i would shorten duration to 30d instead of 60d but the technology already exist

sadly in my experience once gf decides to remove feature it is never coming back

Surely by the end of the year more than half of the players that are gonna merge wont be even here.Another failure by GF,i m not sure do they have project manager in their company ,if they do I think projecting what they will earn by the decisions they are making in the future is gonna cost them once more than they know or care.From my personal experience they will reach once point without return if they aren't already.

yohdh thanks for responding at least unlike our lovely coma that usually is hiding mode when it comes to bigger things around his community.

Not happening after a handful of players abused it to move server to server farming smaller players like politicians spending tax dollars

And some of the same players abusing maintenance sessions to glitch the grave yard to move server to server. we are lucky they kept grave yards at all and we just do not have to give up exodus accounts to keep target uni accounts

to bad we can not fuse some of one exodus account to save our hard work

But Not my problem since all my accounts are on target servers

Sorry if i am wrong, but we judge on what we see,and we see years of players being ignored from the company, and the coma is there to send the feedback to them. If they don't listen him i see his role pointless, because things seem happening automatically. From the time of v8 version where players repeatedly were saying the stuff about how bad will that version impact on the game and its balance.The main problem was that because the most problems came from the that version and all imbalance we see today started there, but hey who are we to be listened.Just a sheeps in the line.
